First of all, thank you all very much for all the input!

I have taken into account all the things you have said, and I would like to say that I didn't choose just any news, I chose the official cash rate because I saw that in the past this kind of news had somewhat of an impact on the currency, especially if it changed in any way.

This is the main reason why i chose my first entry point over there, because from what I've seen, I consider it one with low risk involved.

I know trading news is hard, and very risky (I feel the irony in there too), but I feel that the official cash rates are very solid entry points.

I hope I wont be proven very wrong tomorrow, although I will have no regrets at all. I'm just waiting to see what happens

The thing about those types of news events is that even if you are right, you can be stopped out on really wide spikes each way before/after the announcement. Like others have said, it is gambling. Good luck!

seems like below, of course too close to see visually, they always do that


i dont trade that way but i know a lot of people do... meaning a close below should be bearish from this point. possibly back to 3463

just calling what i see.

heres a potential problem for bulls going much further than 3500 at least this week.. (daily divergence highly likely)

doubtful the week will close above 3500 (IMO) but if it does look out!

todays daily close will be interesting to say the least.

Something I have been aware for awhile.
Whenever over 60% retail traders take positions PA goes opposite.Its no secret just like casino lot of brokers bet against their clients so Oanda and others clearly see where they are and take a position against it.

Down we have been ... then A REVERSO UP ... interim reversals ... then up again ...

Afterwards we smashed it down from 1.3495 with A REVERSO ... down towards 1.3465 ...

Cashed there major parts ... and so on ...

there was no bear because of the large surge to close last week. then we had a nice bull flag and now that we are at new highs

bear is possible but of course must wait for the bull waves to end.

see chart for an example. this applies to all time frames and the daily just saw a mimic of what the H1 saw in the last 6 hours off that dip.
