Looking at the CAD/JPY that triggered this week. What do you think? Will price hit stoploss and we will have to re-enter the next SELL signal? Or will price move in our favor next week? If we enter a SELL signal at the opening of the next candle, we would have a STOPLOSS of about 150 pips and a TAKE PROFIT of 1000 pips. Pretty good risk I'd say.

Hi Ashur,

Excellent system... I am right now using COG with day trading. Can you please put your template for MT4 so that I can compare my trading with your's. One more question Are you Zorastrian? If yes I am too.

i think you are using cog very wrong if you look at the cadjpy is going further up no level to bounce from in many time frams take my advice trade with trend

Hello Bomi, I have uploaded the template on my first post for everyone to download and no I am not Zorastrian. Although my avatar picture is very similar to the Zorastrian symbol. I am Assyrian and my avatar is of the the God of Sun, Ashur.

No disrespect to you sir, but I think you should open a new thread. I use center of gravity ONLY AS A REFERENCE to my trading. I've tried trading the COG as my primary system and I've been burnt more times than you can imagine. The way my system works is it give's you the signal, you take the signal and if it hit's stop loss you wait for another signal. Every signal give's you a take profit point, that take profit point is also the turning point in the market. This mean's it milk's as much pips as possible before the market turns. You can even back test using the Oanda charts to see for yourself. Now if my CADJPY trade hit the stop loss, who cares? That just means that there will be a little more waiting time and as soon as the next SELL signal comes I will be making every pip that I lost from the previous trade plus more!

Hello Ashur,

I'm preparing trades for next week and came accross EurAud.
According to H4 EurAud I should go for a buy as price is below the C.o.G.
Going to the D1 Oanda chart the price is going up and it is above the Starc bands.

Could you please go over this example and elaborate on it, how it should be handled; I can not find the right high to draw levels from and find where buys should start ot should have started?

Hello Ben, I'm glad you show interest in my system. I have posted some screenshots showing my analysis. My advice is to wait for price to make a higher low and wait for the next SELL signal. Price needs to pull away more from the STARC bands, so a little patience is necessary.

Thanks for posting a very nice system! It happens very rarely in FF that we can find sth really valuable.
For those who are not intending to use Oanda, could you, please, specify what is the "last line" of Fibonacci that you are using for TP. Is it 423.6? Or 261.8?
About STARC settings: does (250,300) mean SMA250 and ATR300? Or how to handle it outside Oanda?
And one more question: what kind of Heiken Ashi is it at your daily chart? Is it smoothed or default? Seems like it does not match with neither, maybe there are just some unusual settings?

Hello Indrek, I stick to what works for me for Take Profit and it seems that using the Oanda settings with Heiken-Ashi always seems to do the trick for me. As for the STARC settings, as you can see on all of my Oanda charts on the top left corner. Those are my STARC settings, I think the first 2 spaces are moving averages and the last space is for ATR. (250,300,1.1618) (100,150,1.33) Oh and the Heiken-Ashi on Oanda cannot be adjusted, it is a default setting.

Ok, thanks. I guess, I have to open an account at Oanda to figure it out. STARC is usually a combination of one SMA and one ATR, so it cannot be two MA-s in one indicator as much as I understand. Let us see what I will find out in Oanda.

Edit: Yes, after looking at it in Oanda, it is clear that in STARC, the first number is SMA period and second is ATR period. Heiken Ashi is default one. And the "last" Fibo line for TP is 423.6.
So, we may use MT4 of any broker to trade the system. I find Oanda platform very uncomfortable, besides, it runs on Java that is well known about its serious security problems. Better to disable it in the browser or even delete it from computer.

As we take a look at GBP/JPY we see from our last BUY signal that the TAKE PROFIT/TURNING POINT is arriving soon. Our target is 150.00

Looks like you do not have enough history on H4. You need 3000 candles, i.e your data should start from February 2010.
