It is good to back test when one will actually be able to trade. It will change your actual pip in take quite a bit, since you will miss a lot. Sometimes a 420 pip month can actually be a losing month if you factor in when you will actually be trading. If you are trading 24/7 then all power to you! Get lots of redbull.

I have one more question Placing order high or low of the candle +5 or 5 pip+ spread, for example EU spread is 1.2 so order is +6.2 pips.

People do different things, but I think most/many do just the +5 pips without spread. That's what I do anyway, and what I've always assumed others have done. Including Evaluator.

5 pips with spread when i place a buy order, 5 pips without spread for a sell order but i'm just a newbie

if you go long without spread you will get in too early.. if you go short without spread it's accurate.. depending on the broker i suppose

I was looking and keep looking, but still don't understand, I have been trading Symphonie from July, I have profit every month with H1, but didn't have even one month in profit with M5, even today -60 pips. I don't understand what is wrong, I reading thread over and over again, and it is looks like I am doing everything right, but still have a lose on M5. I even moved trading hours M5 from 6 to 12, still nothing.

this is an obvious one.. stick with what works ! if you are making money trading the 1h charts. then keep it up, your doing perfectly. don't fix what's not broken ! enjoy the benefits and live it up

here's a good example of using ichimoku with symphonie... i got my sell signal on the 1h from symphonie.. if i had taken this trade, i would be negative pips a this point.. the only reason i haven't taken this yet is because we are still in the cloud..


the good thing about this is that symphonie gave me the overall direction, so i will keep my eye on a break below support (the cloud) at this point.

symphonie is correct about the short position, however.. we are in the cloud wich means we are consolidating(neutral faze), when we break support, and close, i will go short

Symphony enhances reliability when used in conjunction with other indicators. That does not change when new bars. This is very true! Without them, it is not reliable. Ichimoku - very helpful assistant!

I use the high and low of the signal closing bar plus 7 pips (my broker limit) on pending orders and that seems ti work just fine with me.

But the overall trend seems up to me and this patter appears to be another triangle or flat that says to me that this is a continuation move so I am expect the EURUSD to break higher before any downward moves.
