Help Page #6a - EA Properties -
"Hot Keys" and the EA Properties settings:
Some of the hot keys previously mentioned are used to make changes to the EA property settings while the program is running, they are shown below next to the associated property setting. As you use some of these hot keys you will notice the display in the upper right corner of the chart window will also change, this makes it easier to see what you are doing when using the hot keys that toggle back and forth.
The only way you can make changes to any of the EA properties is to do it when you load the EA or restart it. If the program is running (Yellow or Green Smiley) you need to use the "Ctrl + 0" hot key to halt the program to do this, you can not open the EA properties window when the program is running.
Some hot keys are listed for more than one setting, this means they are a toggle and will toggle between the different settings when hit multiple times.
For those of you familiar with my other EAs you will notice there is no "Allow Live Trading" setting. When launched the EA is always in the - Take No Trades State - and you need to start it by using the "Ctrl + 9" hot key, this gives you a chance to look at the chart and see if you want to trade live or not.
Remember: If you use a hot key to make a change when the program is running and then you restart the program the setting will default back to what you have setup in the EA properties window.
Also, if you have more than one of the EAs running, even if it is on another MT4 platform, when you hit a hot key you could get the action taken on the wrong chart.
Smiley: There should always be a smiley in the upper left corner of the chart you have the EA on.
Yellow Smiley: This is the way the program starts up, it is running but will take no trades. "Ctrl + 9" to start looking for trades.
Green Smiley: Robot is running and looking for trades.
Red Smiley: Program is halted and dead in the water, nothing is going to happen and no data will be updated. Restart by oppening EA properties window (F7) and click OK.

UseRobotForOpen = true; "Ctrl + 6" set to false so robot opens no trades.
UseRobotForClose = true; "Ctrl + 6" set to false so robot closes no trades.
UseHAScolorExit = true; Set to false if you don't want the H1 HAS color change to close a open trade.
UsePAcrossExit = false; Set to false if you don't want the PA Close on the opposite side of the H1 HAS to close a trade.

TradePipFilter = 200; This is the number of pips you want to wait after you receive a trigger from the M5 HAS color change before a trade is placed if all alerts are in agreement. For a Long trade it will start counting from the last lowest close on the H1 chart, if a lower close happens before the filter count is reached it will reset and start the count over. The purpose is to get in at the lowest point possible, this is for a long trade. At times when a signal is given to enter a trade the PA may be at a peak and then retreats back to the HAS before going on, this should help correct that and get you in at a better starting point.
UseHAS_H4_Sig = true; If you want the H4 HAS trend to confirm your trade set this to true. If set to false only the M5 and H1 will be used to confirm a trade.

This will put 2 dotted lines on the chart, measure the distance between them with your mouse to make sure they are 200 pips apart. If they are not, change this number, the only numbers to use are 1, 10, 100. A second hit of the hot key will remove these two lines.
