Placed a stupid trade by accident a sell instead of a buy :-/ hope it goes down a bit more so I can pull out without a loss. Grrrr!

Is anyone else thinking that if they choose not to cut the rate, this could be the low for many months? It seems the move downward was a bit excessive. Possible volume gap that will likely close over the next few days? Good luck everyone!

I shorted this pair on Tuesday based on Aussie CPI data, so far Iīve got 70 green pips, looking for 1.04-1.0390 area to close my short, I hope I will close it by tomorrow, the truth is most aussie related data over the last weeks has been bad, so I donīt see the aussie going up any time soon, of course, I can be wrong.

CPI data this Tuesday, is deflationary pressure, donīt know if they will cut rate but the pressure is there, and today we had two good USD numbers, so Iīm counting on the strong US data to keep my shorts open.

Iīm waiting for Japan CPI tonight, if the numbers are around or below expectations I think the Aussie can break below 1.0450, if not Iīm closing my shorts.

S&P tops 1,500 and stocks rally; however, the Aussie sold off. Some people believe there is a correlation between the Aussie and S&P. Today's PA proves there is no relation at all.

I think that Aussie depends more on chinese and japanese indicators, (cpi, growth, ppi)

Used to be, has decoupled from S & P and iron ore.

Old chart showing correlation. People do not change but markets and correlations do.

I mentioned before that this retracement was incomplete due to the broken FIb 32.8%. I will look at the daily tonight to get more clues.

Ok my friend thank you. Just looking to lg it here as low risk, but have a real hard time justifying in such a trend. Short seems too easy, just scalping and thinking. Seemed to go for 61.8 but backed off.

With what i see it will be a while till i can long, needs to hit 42 at least and more like 38 / 37 but no hurries here.
