In the end, the sentiment index means nothing until/unless it migrates into the real economy through some excellent growth figures.. Like perhaps a positive inflation adjusted GDP report or some reduction in the unemployment rate.

Until then, the only result you will see in your charts is a knee-jerk reaction which will be faded (barring any other positive news)

Curious to hear your thoughts on JPY pairs at the moment especially considering today's BOJ events.

Im still "hesitantly" short on JPY cross pairs but the sell off earlier today didn't seem to be very dramatic or convincing for my positions...

The sell-off was triggered by two things.

1. The fact that the market was expecting the BOJ to ramp up its asset purchase program this year, not in 2014.

2. Buy the news / sell the fact... or in the case of the Yen, Sell the news / Buy the fact.

I still expect the Yen to continue weakening though.

I am also in agreement that we should expect to see the Yen continue to weaken, however, you still thinking/expecting U/J to make some sort of retrace in the mean time?

Doesn't seem to want to go down...

Yes absolutely, but I'm not seeing any technical indication that such retrace has started. Patience is key. In the meantime, It could either range (topping formation) or make one more hail mary parabolic move upwards.

hmmm....
I think we found support above 1.3300 and we might see re-bounce above 1.3400
That’s my plan, which I am not 100% confident, but the huge pin bar on 4H candle convinced me
Also good RR makes me try this trade, I am entering with very tight SL...
