and for me, i am trading very tiny micro account just for practice purposes. and i pick my stop loss and lot size using 5%-10% max risk principles. So if you're trading 200 dollars with 10% max risk so max dollar you are going to risk is 20 bucks. then according to your lot size, you 'll know what's the max room of stop loss that you're gonna be using. hope this helps.

EURGBP short. H4, H1, m30 all have TDI cross.

Yep that short did not played well. Half hour later after trade was placed latest green HAshi candle converted into green, even that body was quite big already. I have took 10 pip lost and placed long after that. Closed long with 30 pip profit.

Could anyone point out what went wrong with todays USDJPY trade? H4 had rebound on TDI, daily had cross, yet this cross later converted into bounce for downtrend. This is very important lesson next time for me, didnt know that cross on forming can still reshape. Would this means that you HAVE to enter on second candle after cross, and jumping on first one is too quick?

Hi Janpec,

If you had a look at my chart you would see that there is Bearish Divergence which would have raised a warning light for short side against the trend and another point is that around 90.120 was also showing signs of resistance. So I took a trade against the trend so looking for small profit but will see.

Always wait for the candle to close to confirm if the TDI cross or not.
today's D candle still not yet close, so wait till it closed then look at TDI again.
TDI is working on the previous 13 candles, look at the previous 13 candles and oberve closely you will learn how this TDI works. Take scree shot when every H4 and D close , then you have some evidence to compare .

I am been reading through this thread which appears very interseting. I see eelfranz is saddly no longer with us. Could one of you guys who are still trading his system please let me know if you are still using it as per the first thread or has the strategy changed at all?

If we look back on the UJ chart, there're full of negetive divergence all over the place, but the pair keeps running north. So the divergence method is not reliable any more.

Guys wanna see negative divergence? Check out EURUSD daily chart. And TDI below MBL and RSI dead cross the signal line, and RSI just took off heading south from 68 high zone. I will be holding my short on EU for at least a couple of weeks from now.

Hello Gents..
I have been on and off this thread since 2010. Kind of have been using the TMS technique myself to help me with my trading decisions.
Can I know if there is anyone still here who has been using TMS for 2-3 yrs now?
Also has the technique evolved a lot from the first few initial posts from our late great author ?
As the thread has so many pages I wonder whether someone can calrify this pls.... Thank you for your time.
