fairly typical Monday so far, trick is not to get that involved on Mondays unless it takes a clear direction.

And usually the direction is given by... the US session. No US session today.

Some guys CAN trade small ranges. I can't. Now it works the market is ranging.

I stay away from that too.

Agreed...if ur timing is spot-on u can extract some decent pips in this range which may last till tmr with US on bank holiday....As Likerty stated I would also wait for a confirmed break before loading up...GL

Good analysis...once a break past the 34..level & the stage is set for a run onto the 38...! I would imagine pretty quickly given as u say last weeks tight range of 14X-something.. that she was averaging a day the week before...

I wouldnt dare to trade breakout to the upper side as there is too much of unknow.. Any other comment about current E/U rate from another EU/German official could change sentiment dramatically

It could be bullish triangle also.. I'm trying not to get too carried away with these patterns as for now its just a consolidation...

That's solid logical sentiment...however if price confirms to me that she wants to go up...or down for that matter... I do what she tells me too...what can I say the bitch has me in her pocket...

yes is still young may even build an equilateral 50/50, its just that it is @ previous resistance, attached daily the next level up is also 50fib,

however agree its best to wait and let pa show her hand first, either way is ok pips, down is much better

We approaching 3292 - interesting intraday level (Thursdays LO + fridays rejection point + E/U's favorite 40 pips limit for early London breakout movements (from todays 3330'ties)). If it starts to consolidate below that - first bearish momentum signs could trigger remaining short covering from Jan 10th..
