Thanks. And yes, I'll be watching that area also, 1.2880-1.2910 for support. I've noticed since I started looking at the higher time frames for overall direction, it's helped me with my trading, too. And now, 1.264x keeps popping out at me. I'm becoming very bearish for this pair. A correction in play before any further up move, maybe? GL

Interesting. I was playing around with the fib fan last night and noticed that, too. Another thing I noticed on the monthly was how many green closed candles in a row there are. Five so far, (of course, a fib number). If this month's candle closes green, then the next fib number isn't until eight. Correction in play? Hmmm.......

i still have this rising tl channel on the daily. currently, support is at 3060ish. increasing at a pace of approx. 65pp every 4days.

weekly is more a spinner, then doji. a red one, with a high at 50% R of the highest high, since the 1876 low. norm is still at 2894 and a few pips higher on some figures. the pp is still 2909... the yen is pushing this thing. japan isn't going to stop it. its up to the ecb. German products in japan are 20% higher then 3 months ago. to a less degree u.s. and china products are cheaper in Europe, then 3 months ago. at the same time products from the ez are equally more expensive in japan, u.s. and china. something has to give. they have to change the trajectory, or in 3 months. give or take, what happens in the ez?. Britain talked tough and tightened, and we are now seeing a crack in the gbp. the yen put us here and if the ecb dont do something they will be in a depression soon..

japan owes more then the government brings in. they have to inflate (print) just to pay the interest. they live on a volcano. they have little energy, they are cutting out the nukes. so the little energy they had is shrinking. they import most of it. they have high social cost with an aging population. they are sourcing out more and more manufacturing where the energy is cheaper. that place is north America. energy is the most expensive cost in most industrial manufacturing.

now if you were living in Spain.. and had to purchase a product. are you going to buy the German one? or the china one? on a car i may say German. but what if its a Japanese one? at 20% less.. most products are not cars.... on these you may be willing to buy some of the lower grade products. especially if in Spain with 25% unemployment living with your mother-in-law, 4 adult children and a dog in a one bedroom basement.

I have 2 plans for next week trading

Plan A (For long position building) : Down trendline broken, price back down but failed to make new low. I will set buy stop (Buy 1) 1 pip+spread above the high of the last candle that failed to make new low. Next, I will set buy stop (Buy 2) 1 pip+spread above previous swing high.

Plan B (For short position building) : Up trendline broken, price back up but failed to make new high. I should set sell stop (Sell 1) 1 pip below the low of the last candle that failed to make new high, but i missed the trade because i'm away from my pc. Next, I will set sell stop (Sell 2) 1 pip below previous swing low.

There will be a EUR group meeting next Monday , and the exchange rate should appear on the Agenda if Germany would like to avoid a 2013 recession and Merkel defeat in election - which will be catastrophic on whole Europe. However, somehow - i sense the ECB went missing on that issue and probably the Euro rally is kind of comfortable as his main goal was to contain the Debt crisis. So , as long as bailing out the peripheries without further intervention or loans is working - i don't think something should be expecting from ECB. But i'm expecting the German officials to start being vocal about the exchange rate or they will start picking up on Cyprus or address the issue straight forward.

Eurogroup meeting is on Monday and later in the day Weidmann will be speaking. ( If Weidmann doesn't cool off the Eur before the BOJ press conference , then there will be a problem ). Dragni will be speaking on Tuesday , but after the Japenese press conference !

shit, I have been trying to say this for months, but my explaining is crap, this post puts pretty much everything in a neat tidy post, pure gold, for anyone with open eyes , the shit is about to hit the fan

I beleive cable is the most respectful of 50fib of all pairs, as monthly chart shows, 50 has proven a major battle zone, for both reversal and continuation ??

I did post my defence of the bull attack falling tl (red) @6300ish and did/doing quite well

problem with her is she is compressing, and considering talking monthly the break out should be pretty exciting, and I believe should last quite some time, possibly 1-2 years,

so yep, lower timeframes, is make or break now with high possibility of ping pong, higher timeframes is similar, ping pong compression until breakout
daily also showed importance of 50fib, was last level she tapped on Tuesday, before the present bear drive

daily previous low and 50 fib 5825ish will be decision time for bears / bulls, "gap" down to there and then a hard bull drive, is option, "gap" up then same as 1st option or bears attacks 5825ish straight from the getgo, either way is a decision level either way

cable weekly

I have removed wicks and legs, as I think they just noise and are very tricky zones to trade except scalping.

note is pretty rushed chart but shows enough info, interesting thing is the pa that follows each "gap" aka "battlezone" the winner is often followed by pretty decent & strong candle candle what is more interesting is this process happen more often for bear moves than bull moves,, very helpful for me

Bounced off support 1.3293, which has dictated the weekly range along with resistance of 1.3387. More than 9 month highs as well, so let's see how the open goes.
