On the institutional level the orders are being broken up, know one would put lets say 100m on the bid or offer in one shot, they'd break it up over a bunch of smaller orders over a range of pips to avoid exposing there hands to the markets.

okay...i guess even 500 lots would attract attention, so you'd want to stay under say 100 lots then...? i've asked this question many many times on various forums --- never an answer.

Some indicators showed it was over-bought on H1 and H4 Chart.
100pips retrace to the 1.3250 is very normal.
But uptrend can continue after that retrace.

looking at EURUSD 1-week graph it stroke me, that maybe i am looking at inverted head and shoulders pattern charted over last 4 years.

That's the tricky part that many people will get slaughtered by it - the Yen is moving on political changes and a government oathed to do exactly that ... so everyone is jumping , rest assured as long as Abe in the office " Selling Yen is no brainer". But what Euro has to jump on ?! You will start noticing the Yen stalling from time to time, because buyers waiting for a new policy to deflate the yen further , and when the confirmation is delivered - it start jumping! But the Euro is not like that at all !

I think it won't rise to the 1.3480 without any retrace.
It needs a 100 pips retrace to the 1.3250.
100 pips retrace is very normal...

Now that I've had a little time to wake up and look closer, cable is retracing its move yesterday as well. Unless we're seeing a complete change in dynamics here I have a feeling we'll see a large retracement. I hope the ECB loses all of their money they spent on this travesty.

And yet people shouting about head and shoulders and forecasting price one year ahead have more thank you posts and rep points. Something about that rubs me the wrong way.

my "problem" was that i could not, i can not decide when to get long, because the falls... you never know where they stop...
the rises are more definite.
one trick is to buy on dips, when up trend is confirmed, but i wanted more....

after 2 we of headaches on ej, i-m here watching, i got back to my single MA chart, no more indicators and i started to trade again based on probability. up/down.

back to basics, they worked once, 9-11, dotcom 2001 fall, etc, they will work now.

Very strange , almost all pair retraced at least 50% and some even all ... but the cripple is standing and they trying to go higher !

hmm. may be you are correct. Myself still holding the long with target kept at 3420. No problem even if it retraces but probability is less.

This has to be bank manipulation. Who else has the funds to ram this thing 320 points north through two areas of well respected supply in two days? I wouldn't trust the technicals on this thing at the moment, at least until we see some of our correlations normalize with the pound and franc.
