guess it didn't want to fall after all, but now, is this a nice divergence scenario forming? We'll know very soon.

Noone can control this released news that pushed EUR up? He had some valid arguments for a move down according to his own analysis. Not stroking anyone's ego but at least he's using arguments which most of us don't. Stocks are in negative today, EUR is pos. correlated to stocks. Cable also had the momentum for a good drop which in turn empowers EUR potential downside..

Now, to your statement. I beg to disagree (of course ). There were two items of newsworthy note. The first, was Tokyo finally putting their money where their mouth was. This led to a renewed fervor in the buying of the YEN crosses (EURJPY, USDJPY, AUDJPY, etc.). This had a direct and immediate impact on the value of the EURO vs the US Dollar.

The second item was of course the ECB press conference where Mr. Draghi stated in no uncertain terms that there were no rate cuts on the table in the medium term. That was all the market needed to know and caused the instant upward explosion in the value of the EURO vs the Dollar.

Two tsunamis came together and wreaked havoc on the clownbuck.

I see no pupose in being served by shorting this pair until there is a clear indication that this latest move is over. There is absolutely nothing on the mid to long term charts at the moment to indicate anything other than further advancement of the EURO.

So, long story short, in my very humble opinion, the most prudent course of action right know is to either stay long if one is already long. Initiate long trades on any pullbacks, or if one is the indecisive sort, sit on one's hands and do nothing.

Shorting here is just plain wrong...

Just found out... Eurusd moved up before the trade balance data was released....
It got leaked out.... Wtf....

Now, if i'm correct it should stall at 1.33750 ... which could make for a nice shorting opportunity with 10 to 15 pips ! But i will wait for confirmation and not use limit

I think sometimes we all try and analyze too much, to look too ahead, it's one of my biggest faults. I had a perfectly good buy entry signal when both the 200E and 200S MAs got beneath the price on my 1min chart, but I didn't go for it because I'd already convinced myself that it was too early for a breal to the upside like this. My motto is ' just take every signal and see ', pity I didn't adhere to it this time.
