True. When the news came out EUR/JPY and EUR/USD spiked up. But when markets realized Japan will use foreign reserves (could be GBP, USD, EUR, etc but not native currency JPY) to buy ESM in addition to EFSF, the markets calmed down.

the yen is holding up the eu... the rise in ej correlates the eu rise historically. it softens the eu drop

Don't keep shorting E/J even SNB had lost $5 billion shorting EUR/JPY. Perhaps you shorted with $1 trillion might profit 200-300 pips

ya, but i thought this sharp fall of the yen made me miss something. this fall it's going to make me change my trading style, i may be complete after that. this is what i needed.

i open positions in good condition, always., but in this case, ej turned back after me EVERY TIME and touched SL's, 6-7 times in the last 2 we.
today, once more, now i'm free again.
i know the fall in ej will be 'horrible', but i realise now the bad shape Japan is in....

If markets (whoever they are) are keep shorting JPY and buying EUR will strengthen EUR/USD. At times EUR/JPY can go in different direction to EUR/USD but will eventually converge.

If you really want to short EUR/JPY, pay attention to US Bonds and USD/JPY + EUR/USD. The 10 year bond auction today ended up with higher yields and bid-to-cover 2.83 then USD/JPY rise to highs 88.05. So stay away from shorting EUR/JPY

What's so difficult to click the 'buy' button instead of 'sell'?
