My view didnt formed yet.. Judging by yesterdays levels - its bearish + we didnt tested more interesting support levels below 1.3000.
May be because of the rate cut we will range today, but there is still plenty of time to go.. I'm cautious - just scalping tiny bits..

Good take up in the Spanish Bond Auction gave a nice 25 pip pop up to today's R 1 level - so far....

Edit: and then the 3100 level!

Nice call there rekon.. I had my limits set @ 92...after looking at your chart I re-looked mine & realized I would have been to early....given this momentum we could possible see 1.313xx before the bottom falls out...GL

hey, good morning. i would just like to offer a critique regarding UC. i think your expectations in terms of daily range are unrealistic. a daily flag is building with every subsequent day being even more inside than the previous. i would just pay close attention to the higher high/lower low and vice versa price action. there most certainly will be a move eventually. if it were me, i would stay flat and wait for the PA to indicate the direction of the breakout and jump in. while you wait, perhaps plan a trade on a diff pair? there is no better way to get chopped up than trying to make money in a tiny range during consolidation

Hi red, I appreciate your advice. I may very well have to vary my involvement.
USD/CAD used to have 100-120 pip daily range not so long ago, in 2010.
I believe that a number of factors has caused this pair to be pretty much a flat line with the occasional hiccup. I sincerely believe that this type of low range is what's in store for all pairs in the near future. I believe that with interest rates bottoming, and central banks seeking currency stability; they are slowly killing the FX market industry. Could we possibly be heading towards pegged currency values? I feel like the effort is made to move towards much thinner ranges. Everything related to currencies has slowed.. even forexfactory looks like a ghost town, abandoned board
