Hi Gvc,

First of all I must thank you for all the contributions you have made to this method .

I have been trying to edit your version of T101 BTS EA to use on the 5 pair basket , I have got a bit confused with the 7 long and 7 short bit , any help would be very welcome.

Thanks ian

Hi GVC et. al.

First, a big thanks for this great system!

I have one request, though. Can somebody modify the basketv7 indicator so that it can be used to open offline basket14 daily charts as well. I have been able to open offline charts for timeframes between 30 mins to 4 hours, but not daily. I have tried all combinations for daily charts but it doersn't work. The offline daily chart opens but there is no tick data feed. I have used scripts for false tickdata as well.

Thanks a lot

I am still testing the EA. I am being very positive on demo. My main concern is if the EA enters trades when the trend is near to its end then we'll be in big trouble.

We never know if the the trend will continue after the pips count to 1000 and trades are opened then.

Hi LP

That is the million Dollar question.........

I still mostly follow the original T101 theory of waiting till Tuesday to see which direction the Basket is taking...

If on Tuesday there are 5 to 6 pairs of the same color in the top half, then i regard that as a medium to strong signal.
If there are 7 pairs of the same color in the top half then that is a strong signal and good pips can be made.

This is not guaranteed, but it works more often than not.

I have set my EA pips_filter to 1500 as it normally reaches this level on a Tuesday.

Hi Zorran

Try reducing your number of bars from 1000 to 500 when you load the indicator.

My platform loads the Daily (1440) no problem.

I think that is cos i have plenty of History stored up on my platform.

GVC, thanks for the thread.

I have a problem with your spreadsheet. Was wondering if you could shed any light (I'm using XP, not Windows 7 so the folder/directory issues don't apply).

For some reason data on EURUSD is simply not appearing in the spreadsheet.

Hi Wide Eyed

For some reason the EURUSD does not always update the first time you open the spreadsheet.
I have spent many hours in the past to try and fix this problem, but it is beyond me....

The easiest way to get it right is to select the High cell then in your formula bar you will see =MT4|HIGH!EURUSD.
Take away the D from EURUSD and then put it back and press enter.
You will see it now works.

Do the same for ASK, BID and LOW.

Wow, so it does!

Thanks very much.

Can I bother you with another problem? The CSVExport seems to work fine with that tip you gave earlier about changing the newTime extTF to and from 0/1. But the only weekly CSV that's getting updated seems to be the AUDUSD. All the others aren't showing the latest week's data, mine show Dec 23 and Dec 30 for all pairs except AUDUSD which shows today's date (on both rows).

I tried deleting all the W1 CSV files, but the EA simply recreates them with data from the same old dates.

Thanks man for the quick response!!
Worked like a charm, I just had to reduce the bars all the way to 300 to make it work. I guess I am seriously low in History. peace!

Having some trouble with the Basket Trader 2.2 on the kos strategy.
I trade it pretty successfully manually and would love to employ the EA to open the baskets while manually managing them to start with.

I have had a couple of unexpected scenarios

1. where a basket should have been opened and it wasn't

2. where I wasn't expecting the basket to be opened and it was.

I know a few people use this EA with kos's method but I would not like to clutter his thread with EA issues

Any assistance will be appreciated.

See shots below.

Hi Stephen

I see that you are running MPTM EA for money management.

I don,t really see the need for it as the T101 EA has most of the MM built in.

I am inclined to believe that there could be a conflict between the 2 EA,s as they are presumably using the same magic no. and both using conflicting MM.

My EA is working with no problems.......

Try removing other EA,s that can be causing conflict....

Thanks for such swift response.

I have the EA running on 2 different computers.

You might be on to something with the MTPM as the computer that didn't take any trades was running the MTPM as well.
I have now taken it off.

The computer without the MTPM took its first trade since last night about an hour ago having missed an earlier trade which I did manually.
It closed it while I was replying to your message for about $51 probably due to my tight money management.
I was surprised however that it took the trade given that PA had moved so far away from HAS in every timeframe.

Another thing i see is that you have 2 instances of HAS on the offline chart.

This can also be a cause of conflict in the EA.

This is on the machine that actually took the trade and I only added it about 2 or 3 hours ago.
I'm removing as we speak to avoid confusion.

One thing to note is that the offline chart for the machine that hasn't taken a trade was created with your BasketV7.
The charts are identical though with regards to PA.

Thanks again for you continued assistance.
