Quick survey for the EUR/USD (Jan 04, 2013 08:00 CET) ...

The fact that they took it at aprox. 1.3051/52 from the table at first is not one of such an encouraging sign ...

Further declines are looming at first before they are willing to take a fresh stance ... and a test of somewhat around aprox. 1.2970 cannot be ruled out ...

So what?! We can wait ...

how on earth will QE end in mid 2013 ?? we have QE infinities running, 40 bln in MBS and 45bln in bonds until further notice. also the reason dollars go up in value instead a flight to quality or safety its because when financial markets are going down people get the hell out and when you sell an asset (stock, bond, used pinto etc...) you get paid in dollars / hence their value goes up because of demand for them. also when asset prices decline its a sympton of deflation / credit being destroyed / dollars being destroyed = dollars that are in circulation their value goes up. maybe the big boys are afraid that the fed cant prop up the stock market anymore by handing them free money and asking them to buy stocks up and lend money to people who are already up to their eyeballs in debt.

the US banks are small potatoes in trading markets, becuase of us regulations. guess where your money is right now for the account your trading on in forex ?? its in europe or the uk to be exact. almost all brokers who use leverage rehypothecate your assets to london who leverage it up for the brokers. read your sign up agreement, im sure somewhere on there it will state this.

the logic of the QE3 is to Restimulate growth in housing market and employment....
and since QE3's inception.... Housing market is back on growing track , and so is employments looking at previous streams of better than expected NFPs...
So theres really no more reason for QE3/QE infinite to continue...

1.3018 still to be watched. A close above there could signal an upward move if d bulls can take up the 27ish.

my exit strategy is to have SL moved furhter and further in profit as market breaks more and more support...
When a support broke and turns into resistance... i immeidatly put the SL couple pips above the resistance... so literally Trailing Stop but done Manually as eurusd continues to break more and more support....

TP is open... so really the SL is to follow the market
when SL gets hit thats signal that market is going to reverse, and hence you get out in profit.....
i see you're using fibs... fibs could work like this too i suppose...

here's the real reasons for the QE infinities MBS are the toxic assets that caused the meltdown theirs trillions of this garbage on banks balance sheets that are worth FAR less then their book value. they are doing LTRO (cash for trash) american version.

as for the bonds part. how much money is free to go into the stock market and bonds ?? you have any idea what the us government would be paying for new debt if the fed wasnt buying almost every single new bond issued ?? a lot higher probably 3 % or more. money goes from the banks to the us government for those Bonds so the government can keep spending into the economy which in turn helps it from crumbling. the banks sell them back to the fed and receive cash to inflate asset prices namely stocks.

the feds main goals are not employment and housing. mortgage rates are and have been at all time lows

the real goals are this
MONETIZE DEBT (inject liquidity/ devalue currency/ keep the money supply from contracting)
PROP UP STOCK MARKET (wealth effect=another bubble)
PROP UP HOUSING VALUES (keep them from falling any further= re-inlfate bubble)

Maybe you should tone down a bit on the long term fundamentals,.... short term fundamentals are the one thats moving markets..... and right now FOMC minutes hinted a possible early end of QE due to improving housing and employment

you can go ahead and talk about bonds and crap but all what matters now is that theres speculation in the air that QE is going to end (regardless if this is good or bad) the idea that QE going to end means USD doesnt get printed therefore Dollar can finally appreciate well beyond that 80mark in DXY.....
