Good Morning Everybody.
How great was to have few days off….

I am still wondering where the price goes today.
I think it is THE NEWS this afternoon to tell us further direction.
Personally I bet for “slightly” bearish scenario as more likely (chart 1)

Alternatively, good news may activate “turbo-bulls” who will start buying at this price, which can push euro back to 1.3300 and higher…(chart 2)

Hopefully the bearish scenario plays out and then I can once again start making sense of this market.

Anyway, regardless I went long at 1.3223 for an inverted H/S measured move up to 1.3285. Looks like we've arrived so I've taken 60% off the table and letting the rest ride with SL @ BE

Happy Holidays and welcome back.
I was checking the news calendar. I'm hoping my long U/C trade will bear fruit with target slightly over par.
Oil being up. USD Index being down. Can news reinforcement (positive number on unemployment) be sufficient to turn this thing around?

wow. barely any movement at all on that positive unemployment report.
my broker didn't even bother to widen the spread. to be expected?

* and for some reason had a very tiny and slight negative impact on USD

Thin markets act irrationally. Plus unfortunately the market doesn't give a hoot about the Jobless Claims right now as focus is totally on the fiscal cliff. I am long U/CAD from many levels and I am targeting above 1.0390, but I know I will have to wait until Feb at least to see that number... unless all hell breaks loose.

Give it another hour. The futures markets are dead this time of year.

Thanks Turtleman. Very helpful. Your charts just confirmed my zones perfectly.

Cash markets open in two minutes.
For those of you wondering why the better than expected US Jobless Claims number didn't move the market, you may have to wonder no more after the bell rings in New York. Let's see what the floor traders want out of the Euro today.

I'm betting on a strong USD, but with thin markets, one never knows.

A move and close below 1.3250 today should keep the bears in action. Above 1.33 and we're heading for 1.3485

I am looking forward to connect . The supply demand zone trading was new to me as I was a turtle trained dude but th drawdowns were to much to deal with. The seiden work was jibberish and to much subjectivity... I trade a zone now when I have a 2.5 to one RR between supply and demand fresh zones
The zones when interpreted and traded on H4 with M15 entry are about 85 accurate and when you are willing to allow the trade to retrace you can penetrate mutiple zone ever days even weeks. My mentor gets 2000 pip trades pretty regularly and I would love to introduce you to him as I am confident in synergies

I have 3308 as a final frontier before upper targets. It is pointed out by fib projections which coincides with Dec 19 highs perfectly
