For now, inflation doesn't seem to be a concern so commodities are taking a dump. However, that may also be because many bookies have closed shop for the year and since the majority of commodities contracts are held by specs... you get the picture.

As you can see, still positive for the year.

Okay, joking aside, we need to get below yesterday's low for a measured move off the double top pattern down to 1.3065 which in so doing, will break below the 1.3120 bull/bear line in the sand... unless it fails.

With two spinning top days in a row, I'd say the bears already have an advantage.

Been playing with my weekly chart trying to make a technical argument (not just fundamental) for the bears on a longer term perspective.

I see potential inverted H/S, but the right shoulder is missing. So, let's get it painted so when it's done, we can start buying this sucker.

even if open interest is lower etc, a 5% up/down move in one day is simply crushing. it is widely known that silver is far more volatile than gold though

Well this time of year, all correlations (especially in commodities) are messed up. Just look at the history.

From what I understand, the normal correlation is that when silver under-performs gold, it's equity bearish, and vice-versa.

when ever this sucker coming above 1.3280 i am shorting it to my heart now today again i manage to squeeze another 1% out of it.thats some easy money.
