if they do cut.. it does say, they want to export more. so evidently china is buying less. and selling less to the u.s... as trade deficit shrinkage shows.

Of course but it might take awhile for the investment/capital out flow and can't see it in near future or at least before the cliff issue fixed. On the other hand it might boost the rate higher in risk positive environment.

Can't be another rate cut in AUD until Feb as understand

Besides, a rate cut will stem the inflow of much needed funds for developement, which will stifle jobs growth in proposed new mining ventures.

What's the significance if USDX hit 78.45? Do you expect E/U to bounce from there?

this has gone in for years already. the aud is no longer at 8%. the are just trying to prevent panic with financial markets. any businessman looking to set up manufacturing globally is looking at cost. energy is the highest cost. labor cost in the u.s., in a industry like car building, is only 10% ... the other cost is raw materials and energy... its now cheaper to build in the u.s. (North America) then even parts of Asia. German manufacturing will suffer. they and the Asians are setting up shop increasingly in the u.s. already
energy and raw materials are in the u.s. the added cost of shipping raw/finished product trans-ocean twice is also a reason..

As far as I know, RBA never do anything after holiday season before February. Whether will be another cut or not is too complex to simplify with yes cut or no cut.

yep next RBA meeting in FEB , they can have emergency meeting if thinks going break down .

Agree on that but until then, there might be development in other parts outside US and Europe require resources from Australia to keep it going. Or another industries to take over the mining. Who knows.

BTW, guess I am done watching the PA. Painfully slow.

A rejection is telling me big players will jump in for better fills because on wires, BOJ is set to reach the inflation target sooner not later than January 2013. Now, that is scary.

its rare for it not to get its pip. it didn't last time on a high probability setup. it has done that now. we usually retrace after.. that retrace when it comes is about half the move.. min... if this move to 3188 is a retrace... we should go lower .. i posted that about the single pip.. many times.. i did it here ,, just to show it had,, and stopped at that single pip. before it happened.. it makes dt and db..
