If even after we got (positive) fiscal cliff final world, we still don't manage to crack 13200, how low do you see we will retrace?

That's exactly the point mate, for people like me that only hang around with +/- same traders, I don't have the time to follow other new traders across FF for 2 weeks, the Voucher system is of great use to have a reference before you engage or waste time talking about the markets.

When a trader like Gator for example, who expend a lot more time here and it has been a lot longer than me here, gave a Voucher to some newcomer, I will automatically at least read 1st posts in details ....

Well TA wise I prefer and it has the strongest odds if we roll above 1.316x today is a clean move to 1.334x without retrace (I wouldn't load around here btw as is very poor r:r ...either you are already in or you missed the boat) implying a no deal (or a poor deal) on the fiscal cliff late.

A retrace to 1.308x will be the textbook and it will imply a decent fiscal cliff deal, very tradable with daily. Finally, 1.297x is marginally open without invalidating the long scenario on risk but it will imply a failure in the negotiations with 11 hour deal over new years....

btw this pair need some correction as its over due for some but atm the ny closing above 10.36 is bullish close and may halt the correction

aud/usd

i am expecting blasting move upward i dunno, 620ish is res if failed 1.08ish is next

eur/usd

ny close above 3151/52ish is bullish

gold

close above 1697 is bullish

gbp/jpy

is already above bullish line 136.80ish is res

and so forth

If you don't mind me asking, what the importance of this number ? or where did you get it from , if i would be more accurate ! thanks in advance..

Thanks. I want to learn more about managing open position. If I am hypothetically long from below 13000 and already took partial at the current level, what would be the best level to put SL if I want to aim for your level of 1.334x? Just below 1.308x?

Do you only decide to close open position after you know NY close? What do you do if EU drop below 13100 at 2pm this afternoon, for example?

EURUSD ... By using the circles and the equidistant channels i tried to detect the potential energy points in the future which have the ability to attract the price towards itself. But at the same time I shud confess that the scenario in the picture is tooo "personal" and It will be ok if this picture stays here as a fantasy

You maybe asking for too much information ....

Right now with today daily roll from a strictly TA point of view, the natural stop for the swing is still ticks below 1.297x. Depending on how much you have in play and how much did you already cashed in. I would say that you could have plenty of time to micromanage the position: 1st on the rejection 1.316x as early alert and after how 1.308x plays out intraday and after how daily play out the same level. On the FA side, you will get the news too so if things go upside down before your final target, you will have plenty of time and opportunities to clear + with a better trailled stop except in a shock externality...
