Not sure you caught it, but it sees the repubs. are giving in on the tax issue.. This may end part of the fundie unknown.. I think it'll shoot up, and then start dropping.. I didn't look at the charts just yet though..

It wasn't. This move in EURUSD was purely driven by the dollar alone, that sold of, have a look at uCHF and dixy. That move had no correlated correction in the risk assets, look at es/DOW/DAX/XAU. This was a move in a single currency that has no correlation.

Now that it has happened, and I did get stopped out of a trade on friday by 20 odd pips as I trade the markets as a whole and don't focus...
Great post. As I've said in some of my earlier statements I'm just going to let price action sort this one out....why do anything else?

If we go to hedge strategys the things can be much worst.
So lesson is assume loss and go on.
And please never use martingale or grid strategys.

For those traders who use brokers that close over the weekend, and give you a "retail" gap on the "open", price is now 3181

Of course we will get a few posters here who trade this gap that they see, but for some of us with proper pricefeeds, we know it is all an illusion. It does provide some entertainment if nothing else.

Just guesswork here, but I wonder if there's going to be a short but fast rally from stop-loss orders being activated as brokers open up from the weekend.

might be because of the cnn news I posted a little earlier.. It went up, now that maybe the fiscal milf is out of the picture, they'll start focusing back on Europe and hopefully will start dropping. Tomorrow/tonite will tell a story..
