It surprised me too...3120 3129 3150ish they are strong resist level to me but we push over without support frm fundies hmmmmm....
Anyways will see what happen on monday ...
Bt since we hav closed above 50 more likely go go up...

They break upper trendline resistance.
They want close year with a big candle and a short squeeze.

If I were you I'd just ignore the fundamentals and look at the chart. Rarely does market action seem to make much sense with what the fundamental pundits are telling you.....

well...I beg to differ on that point...
If you've been following fundamentals carefully this week, you would have surely noticed a very major announcement the federal reserve chairman made on Wednesday, which is more than doubling the amount of their bond and other asset purchases and maintaining the current level of low interest rates until unemployment rate drops to 6.5%, de-facto devaluing the greenback further....

Market response to this has been fast and furious immediately following this revelation and continuing to date resulting in breaking of major multi-month overhead resistances in EUR/USD.

Another Doctor's appointment and missed all the action. Just got home. Noticing where price stopped at on the daily, with this recent up move.

i have posted this on november 25, when it was much lower than today. i received very aggressive comments after this post. because too many people were losing money and they deadly believed that it can not go higher. we are are exactly at 1.3160 now and of course i was lucky to tell that level. what i want to say is that never ever be TOO SURE. you can not move the market, be respectful of the driving force. be able to change your mind at any time, be flexible. and most importantly, respect your fellow traders and their opinions.
my crystal ball says that we will go much higher.

I have been thinking about that too , But it would be valid if Gold rallied with it ... Gold is the bench Market for inflation and the main protection against it ! I also took the trouble to check QE3 announcement , in the period between 21 of August till 14th of Sep ! Gold almost made the same moves as Eur in that particular period ( So, either Gold is lagging behind EUR or it was not about QE at all )

Anyway, i think i will pass for the rest of December and take only scalping positions - pr shorting near 1.32400
