From what I have so far understood about the Sonic system this seems to be the most plausible advice - wait for good Dragon angle, wait for 89EMA to be below current price, trade only in the direction of a trend (look at higher time frames)..

Please see my post above regarding the functionality of the angle of the Dragon. There is no "tweaking the system". There is, however, the task of learning the few simple and important rules and recommendations, and then adhering to them while growing in understanding of S&R, and of how price behaves in the vacinity of S&R before moving to another S&R area.

Market Comment:

Consider a pair like GU, that has been moving down somewhat. EU is starting down, and AU also now. Consider what these moves down might mean. The market is putting on a "bearish" show, and attracting shorters. The market doesn't mind dropping the price before the USD releases, if it will draw in shorters. Many of those shorts will have SLs, and the lower the market works the price to attract shorters, the lower those SLs will be! Guess what?! Come USD release time, the market can whipsaw the price up 40-80 pips, maybe more, and effectively steal all those shorts for themselves! And with a huge advantage, too! When the market "steals" them, it will be at the SL prices! Higher entries for the market's shorts than for the shorters that put the money into the market! Nice trick, huh?!

As per your post above, did you place your SL just a few pips above the spike? And is 2 your green line TP1 and TP2?

I know, the angle is important. But at what point should one cosinder the angle? At the moment of entry? Or over a period of time?
If I get it right, the 89ema does not need to be below the dragon to go long. It is sufficient if the price is above the 89ema for longs and vice versa, right?
When e.g. going long, is it important that the second leg goes through the dragon? Or is it sufficient if the second leg just bounces off of the dragon?
