Right Click your EU chart and select Properties.

In that menu put a tick in the "Show Ask line" box...

It will just help you visualize what happened. The difference between the two lines (Bid/Ask) is the spread. Although you were watching and the (Bid) price didn't appear to hit your SL....the Ask did.

look at your quotes window on the left EUR/USD bid/offer difference is 3 pips = 3pip spread

the price got to 77 on chart = bid price, so offer price was 77 + 3 = 80 = your SL trade closed.

remember your MT chart shows bid price, and to exit a short you must buy at offer price and vice versa

a nice 5 min inverted hammer [waiting for that for new shorts], that should be the europe's rally top. Short 78 with stop above that wick, going to lose just 7-8 pips for bigger stuff. Hour 1 have not close above 50 sma yet, if the rsi dive under 45, i am nursing this trade further.

it's likely to be a big move later of out 1.300 zone either way. I have 1.2967 and 1.3158. Any highest's short i may try near 1.3170 our recent high for the past few months upon seeing weakness. There can still be breakout from 1.3170.

Got a little blindsided by that Spanish auction yesterday, lost a few pips. Just watching & waiting at the moment, stubborn on both sides at the moment. Seemingly still wants a move higher, but consistently getting slapped back down. Doesn't matter what 000 region your in, PA often gets bogged down in the 70 region. Will see what action we get post ECB

Im currently short ej @ 107.80.

Considering opening GJ, targeting 132.50, then 132.25. Although after 132.50 there appears to be atl on m5 that could bounce price around 132.40/5. Depends what lines you think price will respect.

What you targeting if you dont mind me asking?

Dam it all. GFT canceled US accounts. I need a new forex broker fast. can someone recomend me one - please traders only. PM me if you don't want to clog up this thead. Sorry for posting here but I need help fast. I'm thinking about FXCM but haven't looked into them.
