Nobody short on the eurusd ? Are you waiting for the market to open the trade for you ? Otsukaresamadeshita.

A possible safe entry was under 1.31 off course but in order to be aggressive and catch the most of the move the entry is above (1.31055).

GU: Manually closed at TP2 for 6 pips loss, EP1 to TP2. The short ride never happened, and it is getting close to the USD ADP release. I do not want to be in a trade at that time.

I'd like to comment more. I already exited the trade because it was a good one with 30 pips gain. Personally I like when a see a horizontal support and resistance when taking the trade (like the ones depicted above). It's my best setup because support and resistance are very clear. You can put buy limit or sell stop in advance without worry to be in a hurry.

Market Comment:

Sonicers, perhaps UCad best symbolizes the Market's strategy. The premise is that the Market is secretly bullish USD, and has quite some time to enjoy position building ahead of an outright visible market reversal to pro-USD. Maybe that happens after January 2013 gets into full swing. Meanwhile, the Market continues the up/down price maneuvers to bring in "wrong side" (anti-USD) trades while the market persistently builds "right side" pro-USD long term positions.

In the case of UCad, see that it continuously ranges. Today, this set up for a bull Sonic R. move, which took off once the US session got underway. Then suddenly the price was slammed right back to the bottom of the range. Was the Market price manipulating for the double benefit of hitting stops on longs while resetting the price to resume the more casual, secretive building of pro-USD long positions?

December is a "tappering off" month for the forex market. And January is a "gradually getting up steam" month. And the United States of America is finally on the path to recovery. All that remains is to spank the surviving Republicans, and send them home to their super-rich masters. By mid-January 2013, the structure of the recovery will start to unfold, and that may be the time the Market looks to for the start of a visible reversal to a pro-USD sentiment. By then, the Market will have had ample time to create huge pro-USD positioins under it's cloak of deception.

This is only a premise, a guess. Which is only what it can be. Time will tell. I have long positions on this pair. I have been waiting quite some time for a bull breakout, but am content to be patient.

EU: Entered EU short. Late US session entry. Risk is that even if this is to drop more, it might run out of steam now. Then the upcoming asian session might put it higher again, before the move down resumes.
