I note with interest that whilst everybody has been talking numbers on here no-one mentioned that 312x is not only a weekly daily/resistance price point but also contains the daily and monthly R1 levels.

That is why I took the early short because it was good for pullback of at least a few pips as it tested only moments into the frankie, and now with following wind I will be able to keep the trade for my proper positional short, otherwise I will need to reconsider when...

Gator mentioned it last night I guess, read it this morning. That was also my reson Doom man but even from a monthly R level, I find it difficult to see 15-20 pip drop as a retrace... At least not a proper one. I closed @1.3105 just for the sake of it and will re-open if we get closer to 1.3120 again..

He meant retrace as in reaction. And it was a valid thinking. Unfortunately this bull trend is pretty strong and leaves no room for retraces.

Since the 12th of November, the EUR has been increasing versus the USD above a bullish Fibonacci fan, after having experienced steadily demand at the support level around 1.2670 before. So far, no former resistance level was strong enough to halter the bulls, which are boosting the rate up. But DeMarker and MACD are already trading inside its overbought market zone and the market is gaining along the upper Bollinger band. Therefore we have to wait and see if the current upward trend is strong enough for aiming a year's peak.

This is how december behaves, the market may move 14 weeks in one direction. I dont expect a retrace till we see 1.38, then i will place a sell order

you are SO right... i've learned to be very skittish about things that don't happen according to my intuition...

i thought that trapped shorts from yesterday would quickly see the light and jump... not as much as i thought... and i don't know why

I remarked yesterday that I forget to give out vouchers and that really is not very fair to those that are deserving

so I assume you are long for 700pips up
Why be conservative perhaps 1.48 even better
