i agree with that, but there is a general variation between most brokers of around 2 pips. it would seem to be in the noise.. (same goes for relative difference within a SINGLE broker's dataset)

what makes you t think NY will take it 60 pips higher on no news in the afternoon? They wanted a HH. They've got it.. It's all about probabilities.. my SL is now one pip, and I couldn't care less.

may be a b/e stop or b/e +1 many traders apply this rule,

I just noticed it grinded higher with a ~700 pip atr for the last 5 days while short positions grew more and more.
someone's playing w/the masses. If it popped 240pips in one day would they get those huge shorts ?

i think shorts have been jumping in the momentum volcano on a daily basis... (-just a guess)

I do sometimes well 1.0 anyway....

think about it - if we were say 15 pips shy of the high of the day and I took a short based upon amongst other things the fact that I believe the high has been completed for the day, then at high + 1 pip it has proved my entry wrong so no need to be in the trade anymore risk is against me, even if it only goes a few pips more - risk is skewed, better to be out and get in again when risk is more even or skewed in my favour

one other thing. they rushed into it. I explained this last week sometime.... It doesn't mean it'll reverse of course, but judging it all, it does fit my entry criteria. I also said yesterday that I'll be shorting above 3046 and longing it below it, so I could only short today I guess..
