Not selling it though...was wondering if you are.
No I don't trade bonds simply because my broker does not offer any such instruments and with currencies, crude, gold, silver and equity indices, I have more than enough on my plate.

My philosophy is to focus on only a few things and become very good at them. "Jack of few trades and master of some" (as opposed to "jack of all trades and master of none")

I dont understand why the BIS would want to keep buying the Euro pushing it higher every day.

  1. Expected large EUR/USD offer at 1.3090 does not materialize
  2. Instead, traders see order books more heavily weighted to stops
  3. Offers expected due to 1.3100 barrier, but larger stops said on break
  4. No market-stopping resistance or orders eyed until 1.3140
  5. 1.3140 Oct 17 high. Talk of 1.3150 barrier, larger corp offers in that area

Confused by the recent surge of capital into Europe (which somehow is supposed to indicate that all is well because local stock and bond markets are faring better)? Don't be: it is merely the latest and greatest manifestation of that most prevalent of New Normal investment strategies: hope. Hope that this time it is different, and that the latest injection of capital from the Fed via QE3 coupled with the OMT perpetual backstop of liquidity via the ECB (still merely at the beta stage: expansion to actual gold/production phase TBD) will kick start the European economies. Alas, it won't, at least not until Europe actually undergoes the inevitable internal devaluation

So what is the conclusion here? Other than to short with leverage < 1.

So many articles but none stated where's the highs.

Certainly. I suppose Price may reach 1.313X area prior to a drop. Patiently waiting for short at this stage. Let PA decide the direction.

Patience is one of my BIG tools in my trader's tool box. In real estate its location location. In trading its the same thing. Funny how life imitates trading.

Agreed, without patience you are never going to make a successful trader....

I'm now waiting for the open of the NYSE to see if its time to hit the T2 fib expansion (.618) or today's R1. Either way, I banked partials on the last spike up above the 3100 level, leaving some longs open

I did earlier today... 1.3110. If it breaks then we have 3140, but that should be the max before we at the very minimum get a good correction... but ideally a complete reversal.

Funnily enough I tend to agree with Deutsche-Bank most of the time. They seem to have an excellent grasp on what is actually happening behind the scenes. ZeroHedge on the other hand are a bit too radical in their views sometimes. I put them in the same class as Nuriel Roubini (aka Mr. Doomsday)

Radical at times yes. I like their perspective as a counter balance news source however.
ZH Tweets are colored somewhat sarcastically which is comedy relief as financial stuff is dry.

Overall I have gained knowledge of other markets (ie: bonds) from reading the articles over the years.

Pssst..... Some people would say PT is radical at times....
