I know very well that I lack the necessary knowledge on U.S. history to make proper comparisons and the lack of in-depth understanding of U.S. fundamentals and business climate make my comments less credible, perhaps (even though i never make statements out of thin air). Heck, i'm not even a U.S. citizen.

That is why i counter YOUR statements where my common logic tells me to. By going a little agressive on you i'm sure i would get an in depth reply from you (which i did and i appreciate that).


PS. about that FED versus Congress. I had the same debate with someone else in the past whom i consider very credible in U.S. economics. We got to a point where the conclusion was that were the power be with the Congress the monetary system would eventually be destroyed due to personal interests etc etc.

You know the FED is and should act as an independent entity ...in theory.

The Fed balance sheet still has more short dated debt on it so unless there is a downturn in the US economy (which does not seem likely at this point), I just don't see why the rate of easing would be stepped up from it's current pace.

currently, there is an enormous overlap between the private sector, government, and personal gain. its completely boned. how many governments around the world are former goldman sachs directors/managers overseeing? all developed nations? oh ok

That is the crux of my point. They have too much power over the currency.They are indepedent of anything but that which enriches them and their friends. Einstein's theory of relativity is just that....a theory. The math works, but I don't know of anyone who has ever approached the speed of light and come back to tell about it to make time travel a reality.

Theory does not=reality....pick ......blue....or red.

Google you some information on the Federal Reserve Act and read how Congress delegated their responsibility to individuals appointed by the president and approved by Congress. Then you might understand the oxymoron of Fed independence you speak about. Which master do you think is served in an appointed position of power? The appointer, or the people they were appointed to serve?
