Good news one day big boys make profit, bad news next day big boys make profit. What a joke, How can you possibly trade off of 1h and 4h charts when news plays such a crucial role, Daily and weekly charts are the only things to trade off and predict trend. Otherwise you would go nuts and broke trying to trade with these criminals.

that temp support I mentioned before could give a bounce... there's also a spinner on m15. just watch that low..

Allright, just let this completely reverse, wait for a pull back and then gator's 2432 is wide open.. Plenty of pips to be made.. no rush.. off to walk the doggie.

it's all good in the long run, lessons like that re-enforce the set of rules I'm building up in my plan. I'm getting increasingly happy with my London entries, locking in 20pips if/when I get there. The discipline is to lock in the profit and shield it from the NY nonsense, frustrating today as I had a lot more than 20 pips on the table. A few mins away from my desk and the bastards wiped out the extra pips. It's a utter scumbag move, they've obviously gone after pending longs above 1.3 then hit reverse

also, I would not long the damn thing (if I would entertain that idea that is) before 10 eastern (the fix) or better yet 10:30 (London leaves for the pubs).

Never mind, he spend all day here shorting an upmove every 5 pips, at least he was man enough to admit he fecked up before he called it quits, of course that's when we got a good move down......

Muppet, reminds me of a guy I knew years ago(trades his own account now), who called everyone a muppet, hadn't heard that in years, till last year in the news when that GS guy quit.

I think also a lesson to learn is pick your fights, I don't have the trading knowledge or plan to take on NY.

I do seem to have a plan now that works on London open, get profit locked in by lunch and then I won't give a sh*t what the NY boys do.

long euro has always been hazardous, or at least very difficult (for seasoned day-traders only)

yes, its an addiction! so everybody should be carefull about it..

1 treat your missis accordingly (she is your life)
2 if children..then even more intense..you have to take time for them (market will always wait for you! always)
3 you can always jump in the market..sometimes at better price or better movement
4 weekly arrangements-sqwaas, biking, chess, beer, moo beer, football, bitchezz-all on weekly arrangments and never cancel it. then you are not a slave

Agreed. Because I live in the UK timezone, I find the best time to trade, when things are reasonably predictable is 0700 to 1000GMT, and if I achieve my daily target by then I withdraw and let everyone else get on with it. I just hate the NY session!
