Yes, it was a false alarm...someone leaked some BS so he could short at a higher level.

or maybe 1.30 is good enough.

i think its decently safe to scale in shorts now, but at the same time, we could penetrate the final DTL, from 2011 high and higher low (release point)..

could turn bullish until 1.3138 and if can break that. 1.33-1.35 possible,

i know how fundamental you are bias against Euro though, and it makes sense, but technically longs set up perfect (or they did from 2650-2750 area)



as of now, the penetration of DTL was fakeout...


add: some heavy off loading going on... these guys probably bought in 26xx

Check U/J. This move looks like last weeks from 80.25 to 79.15 then bounced. BIS was selling at 82.00 after BOJ minutes yesterday.

My only point is that, by various technical measures (all of which have converged at this price and time), this area is of critical long term technical significance.

Price could go up from here, and that would be very meaningful technically.

The same is true if it price drops from this level.

Agreed, but a push higher would also have to sustain itself.. Could be a fake out and probably will be... if we even break through.

Absolutely agree. Support and Resistance are not a single price; they are areas. And when looking at daily, even half-hour charts, those areas are less precise than comparable levels on a lower timeframe.

Which means that this zone of Resistance could be penetrated even further (or not). The big question is whether there will be follow through -- in either direction.

Have a look at EUR/AUD and AUD/USD then compare it to EUR/USD will give the idea how markets are looking at EURO.

Yea, AUD/USD about to make a 2 month high...

EUR is not looking extremely bearish to me at this time.
