dude you should reconsider your strategy , this no better strategy that one move of market wipe you out and you "just hope" that it will move in your direction , you should wait until fundamentals and technical line up in your direction plus it must be low risk opportunity.

you are down 225 pips and with next 150 pips move you will be f$£c&d up means your account is down more than 50%? What kind of mm is that? It is adventure not trading.

Probably you want to draw a line somewhere now, if that price reaches that level you will exit with that huge loss.

Market has now fully priced in Greece, but we have elections in Spain - 25 november 2012.
Catalans want separation/independence from Spain and this isn't pro bullish.

yesterday, i was about to quit (indicator trader here, EA executed). what's hard is to initiate cut loss one after another for 4 consecutive times x 2 pairs (EU and EJ).

i was ready to close shop at BE during the uptrend but i waited all day. i didn't want to just give up. so i just placed trailingSL at R2 (TP R3-1 pip) and EJ with trailingSL at R1 (TP R2-1 pip) then closed PC and slept.

blindly following the trading plan and executing just 1 system is the hardest thing to do. 3/5 days a week, i find myself in this crossroads and just following your system keeps your account growing (1% per trade only).

whatever system you have, know it like the back of your hand. cut loss when it says cut loss. take profit when it says take profit. you should be in green on a weekly basis.

I find all the comments about Greece and how the current plight of this tiny little country is going to have such a negative impact on the Euro quite amusing.

Look at what the EU is in total, the combined GDP in particular, Greece is nitshit.

How ironic that people here are hoping to make money out of the situation, yet it is partly their money (and mine) that will eventually bail out Greece.

I am more concerned for the ordinary people of Greece and how they need help right now.

It will retract once it touches 1.30300. This represents the 3.6 marker which would represent a significant retraction.

Note:

1. I trade technical only and hold absolutely no opinion on fundamental trading except general bias. Technical first and Fundamental second as a mere opinion.
2. I took about a 100 Pips on the bull retraction.

Good post, personaly i think the least details given about the exact purpose, targets, overall beliefs in the PA given in a public forum the better off you are.
So therefore context must remain a bit mysterious IMO.
Some may say giving back to the trading community, and crap like that, but i think the only advise that could be given to a newby is to keep on trading, don't give up !
Obviously if you are gambling 10 contracts with no real trading experience the market will teach you a valuable lesson.
How should i say this....don't trust anyone on a public forum is a trading guru just because they sound like they are.
As you progress you realize how few real profitable traders there are.

It's not about how large Greece is. It's about how much the ECB and the banks are on hook for. About 1T worth of it.. That without all the derivatives sitting on shaky or no collateral that are ready to implode at a moment's notice.

I don't know.. This move threw me off a little tbh.. Just looking at it, it's a horrible way to attack 1.3 and it's just asking for a good slap. We'll see what a little more normal liquidity will to to it next week..
