See I came into trading 2-3 years ago when i has 16 so major movements from BOJ is a relatively new concept

charts EU & Swissy Daily updated

note eu is contrarian to swissy but eu is a little harder to track than swissy, eg, eu has breached a bullish pennant, (fail) aand presently pierced the ltl of a bull flag, (in process of retesting, possible fail) the red falling tl is a weekly however swissy I beleive is playing out a bull flag nicely, breached and retested, this retest still could be repeated, so I will be trading these bo levels until proven fake,
I always haves swissy chart up, she give better respect levels and patterns (except interventions) than EU but eu has better spread for trading, but I am tempted to convert to swissy, is been too many micromanipulations on eu for too long

sfaee trading the hunt for more bear pips next week

Hmm.. Broke up with 4 year partner this weekend. Feel pretty crap,

Going to have to teach the market a lesson.. Posting my analysis for the week ahead in half an hour.

I am also interested in the 2770 area for a longer term short, perhaps to 2500 level, though it would not bother me at all if it didn't do any of that.
So i maintain an overall short point of view, untill proven wrong.

Ok everyone,

I am aware some of these counteract but technically speaking this is what I expect to happen.

They do counteract but proportionally speaking wins outweigh losses in short term and long term.

I specialise in channels, fibs with candlestick patterns.

If anybody has any cool strategies feel free to message me I am eager to discuss.

Analysis provided below: I drew on them so i dont need to write about them all basically follow or break channels, hold or break of fibs.

this week is going to be a hard week for trading. it seems that 200ma on D1 time frame and a cluster of fibo retracment+ fibo (ABCD) extension is broken but specially about 200ma break there is high chance of pulling back and daily candles can show this challenge by long shadows.

we can have abstract of last week's story in weekly chart: completely indecision market
after starting for a pull up price changed direction near 200 daily ma. this could be an evidence for selling signal but not before a black engulfing candle. now we should focus on this week. possible trade could be scalping in lower TFs (for me it is higher than M15)
some important facts :

Ocs.' s TL is broken but the situation is still complex. (it is indicating bullish trend)
price showed respect to (yellow) demand zone (broken supply zone)-we need a body candle for confirming break
no new signal in volume, still last reversal is valid (indicating upward motion)

Well if I add those levels to my chart... short below DPP1 tp above DPP2(1.24)

should be good, i think it is a too bigger stretch for 1 trade

I truly think that the rest of November days are open to any moves , Its playing around strong support and resistances lines - Which make it vulnerable to any news indicating a direction. But, given the fact fiscal cliff takes won't kick back before Thursday and Tuesday is full of market moving events , add to that the middle east unrest and possibility of a war ... this either a range or sell high buy low situation for me !

I remain skeptic of the bearish move, as i personally sense reverse in trend that hasn't manifested itself yet on the charts and also inability to justify a Stop lose with a Take profit. ( As a decent SL for a minor move down, would require your SL to be above 1.28800 )

My own ideas on current situation, would appreciate any feedback in my amateurish endeavours to conquer this trading bug which has cost me a lot of time and no returns so far.

Monthly Chart.

Suggests this pair may have hit the low for now and from a technical perspective, has begun a new bull trend.

I use MACD purely as a momentum indicator with my own personal settings, yours would no doubt be different.

One thing I noted was that the MACD cross at these settings has historically been pretty useful.

Weekly Chart.

Suggests again that a bullish trend may be forming, with a retracement up from the previous bear run from 1.4939 to 1.2041 to just clip the 38.2% fib.

So basically, I am watching from where it is now, 1.2625 is the critical number.

Will it rebound and continue the bull run, or will it break down and head further south?

EUR/USD DAILY CHART

You can easily see inv. H&S Pattern. Euro targetting 1.4250 next 4-6 months after Spainish Bailout.
