No offense, but in Greece if you can skip on taxes then do it. If you can get a friend to make up a phony job so you can earn a government wage that's fine.

You would need a complete mentality change overnight.

Argentina did, and got ahead (after a few short years of suffering) because they didn't have to apy the crippling interest on the debt.

Ok, so the option you are suggesting is the worse one, just as long as Germany has nothing to do with it.

That's like getting a splinter in your toe and telling the doctor to just cut the whole foot off if the splinter remover was made in Germany.

Intraday EUR/USD: Thursday's two-month low at 1.2717 remains vulnerable while resistance at 1.2834 caps. Wednesday's break below 1.2763 brought the 1.2590/1.2607 target area tangibly closer, although there is single-print support at 1.2653 from September's Market Profile to negotiate first, in order to expose the 1.2590/1.2607 target area. A recovery above 1.2834 would provide respite, but only above Wednesday's high at 1.2876 would question the bearish outlook.

No, i think you are underestimating the splinter, they are not just going to have ti fix the economic problem, i'm talking about enslavement of the worst kind.

At least with EU loan it can carry greece until the bad times are over with a much lower, but not as low as outright default, quality of life.

That's why the politicians made the decision to go with Merkel. They knew they screwed up and had to do something. Lesser of two evils. Don't just blame the politicians though.

Avoiding paying taxes is national sport in Greece. And almost all the "suffering Grecian people" participate if they can get away with it.

I don't just blame the polies, and you are right the people themselves are part of the system, no doubt.
Without taking any more time on this, as i have to compare dick sizes for the rest of my time, your approach is too "linear" to a problem that is very complicated, does that make any sence?
BTW, i know Greece very well.

Sounds good to me. Would be great theatre. I can see the headlines now....

Grecian people revolt. Overthrow politicians. Tell EU to kiss off. Greece forced out of union. Greece economy collapses worse than it is now. Almost no employment. Grecian people are in worse condition than if they had just took their medicine.
