DislikedAnother example in finding decision points to base entry and SL around on a trade I'm currently in...EJ H1 FTB - an FTB which is both an SR zone and an SD zone.
My entry was just below the zone edge marked and my SL was just above that higher DP zone - the way price left that zone tells me price has a low chance of getting above there and the setup still working out - so my SL was @ 103.17 (i.e. small buffer) plus spread.Ignored
DislikedI have a hindsight trade. I am curios if it's correct and if anyone here saw and took it.

DislikedAs well as the UCAD trade (+1R) yesterday I also had the following:
1. Gold - FB of an SR and swing higher after hitting clear supply +1.15R
2. GU SR FTB - exited for -0.60R
3. EU -M15 FTB -just a quick scalp for +0.92RIgnored
DislikedLJ,can you go over GU and USD/CHF trade(tweet) when yo have time, and explane when and why you decided to move Sl so you don`t have 1r loss?

DislikedAnother FB trade I took today - Bund on M5. Exactly the same as the UCHF FB setup above, this time it was an M5 SR with a M10 FB after hitting demand.
Note how price initially did the same thing that UCHF did - it had a successful retest of the SR which is an indication of 'true' rejection and a good momentum follow through is likely to occur. Unlike UCHF, Bund behaved as FB's should - price move dup with good momentum to the FLR of the 83 SR.Ignored
DislikedLJ , A little help please . I was planning to take this trade as a bulls trap of an SR but what went wrong as the setup did not work . What do you think ?

DislikedWhen looking for a bull trap of an SR you want a) a clear concise SR - one that is obvious many traders are looking at in terms of a potential breakout and b) you want a quick material move above that SR which is then completely reversed - either on the same bar or something like the 10min bar on the Bund setup from yesterday. If we also have a clear range or a recent sideways moving market then even better (like S&P below).
I don't see either of those on your GCHF chart - no clear SR and no quick move above and back below?
