Didn't have time I'll know next time to read it just gotta regroup and look for a good opportunity to get back on the saddle.. As of now I expect a little consolidation and slightly to the upside, not immediately but perhaps through Asia for my sake I hope 1.2750 holds and we hit 1.28 I'll double up on position size gotta love martingales

you should change your broker. 1.2883 was never hit. I know cause i had a TP at 1.2880 and it was never hit so i managed to close at 1.2870 manually

yeah, rate cut very likely tomorrow given the surprisingly weak data. Seriously, i didn't expect it to be that bad (today for example).

I don't know what can be the possible hold up...slash it to 0 and get the growth U.S. is getting

Agree. I have made similar expirience with nano4x some year ago. They hunted stops as hell and they were able to argue that they did not. Simply make the change and go to another broker. No other way. This would cause you headaches again and again.

It was never there. Mine highest was 1.2875 had to manually enter from pending 1.2880.

you are comparing apples to oranges here.

Remember that AT THAT TIME we were in the midst of the worst panics out there. If Bernanke was elected as the president E/U would've still sold off.

LOL I'm not comparing anything. I'm just pointing out history. However there is a similarity. No matter who got elected this time, the Euro still would have sold off... just like in 2008

I have as high as 1.28849 just under 1.2885

That is extremely weird I don't think that's happened before perhaps there was high volatility at that point?

well, you can blame the spread then. Price never hit that level. If volatility really was high then perhaps your spread hit 10+ pips (assuming that you have variable spreads)

this is exactly why i don't mess with spot much anymore. these market making OTC brokers are STEALING from you. futures brokers don't have this spread nonsense. there is a bid/offer and thats it. you can trade major events without a sudden 20 tick spread increase that destroys profitability of what is otherwise a great trade. the only advantage of spot is the unbeatable liquidity and low capital requirements

hope you got some nice posiutions in PT. i only have 1 but I am looking to add 1.. not sure where yet but I am thinking a hourly close below 2750 should be good enough.
