When I put the trade the HA was red plus the arrow at the candle close. But then it turned blue during the next candle. Now is back to red with the arrow.

Update on the trades i took earlier.N/U won 14 pips, hit SL but did go up to about 30 pips.BRENT BE+1 and WTI won 10 pips. Couldnt really monitor the trades due to work. But overall decent results. By the way i also took off the alerts on HA candles. Prefer a clean chart. Will look at what signals we get tomorrow morning.

Hi everyone!

I'm back after the big mess in NY. I took no trades over the last 2 days. I don't think it was a good idea anyway because of the markets being closed and low volume. The Euro session was ok to trade. Sounds like a few people squeezed some pips out of it the last few days.

Anyway, some great trades last night. Hopefully some of you got some pips!

Here are 2 of my favorite trades from last night that I missed on my charts...

Sounds like some people are wondering about re-entering on trades. I do not recommend this yet. I'm still trying to work out a way of doing this profitable.

Re-entering on trades I feel is a bit of a gamble. other good entry's will come. Be patient

Yes, I wait for the signal bar to close before entry. The Hieken indi could repaint if you enter on signal bar.

so if signal is at 4:00 wait till 4:15 and the signal will stay.

Trade entered Set-Up in EUR/US

I accidentally jumped the gun on this one... I am fiddling around with similar indicators on my trade station II platform and it gave me an earlier signal so I jumped on it.

Hi Cubby, On these 2 trades the xpma changed color before giving up signal again. Isn't one of the rules that xpma remains the same? Thanks for your help

Here is the conclusion to the EUR/USD trade.

Pulled out a little early (since I got in early) and sitting at -1 pips loss. I guess we live to fight another day.

Since we are trying to repeat Cubby's results, I think its best to not trade after US close, and only from London open. Also, with Sandy in the fundamentals, the system its not getting a fair test. At least this is useful to get used to the indicators.

Let this be a lesson, always plan the trade and trade the plan... And this is why.... I should not have gotten out early...

No we want the xpma to change before. The first hieken ashi signal after we enter.

Here is my trade for US session today. My entry was on red vertical line. I don't know if this trade will be good. Guess we will see...

Yeah, hard to know if to have a TP point instead of trying to ride the trend. Could try taking out half the trade at 20-40 pips and leaving the rest in till macd tells you to exit.

Not sue if anyone got in this trade from yesterday's Euro session. This trade is currently up almost 90+ pips. Wish I was in this trade....

Round numbers would be good for that.

That is funny... I was watching that pair myself and saw a really mellow set-up there, but never got a signal...

EDIT: Chubby, just to verify. What are your input settings for the Heiken_Ashi_Ma_T3-1 indicator? - I think I got something close now... The settings are not perfrect, but they seem to send the same signals at least.

Note* I am using the 4digit broker Heiken indicator NOT the 5 digit broker (even though I am with one) modified by fxtr51

It adapts automatically to 5-digit brokers.
HA-"Step" setting can be 5 .

EDIT #2: Since copying settings to my other charts, there is now a discrepancy between my other charts and Chubby's that were once spot on with the previous Chubby template settings (specifically USD-CHF has many more HA signals now) It seems to me this is a broker issue and somewhere a number is rounded off or added which changes something inherently deep in the code. I am no programmer, so I can't shed any more light on this issue.
