Support and resistance are the leveles when the price stop acorrding the history .. So you have to be carefully overthere.. For example on point "A" as you can see below on the chart that i post was a long set up but i didn't catch it because above was a strong resistance and it was statisticlly according the history high propapillity to stop again .. So although i see the set up i didn't entry because of the strong resistance...Attachment

Sure thing. It is explained in these few words, "....SL is mental for now....", which you can see in both the trade initiation post and the trade conclusion post. Furthermore, in both posts you can see that I stated the likelyhood that FO/LO might pull the price back down. Which they did, and which is the reason I kept the SL mental. You are new to the thread, so you are not aware of the fact that I typically keep my SL mental if I am confident of the trade, and expecting reverse direction spikes by the market as it also loads up for the trade.

You're right too. That's the most difficult thing about this business. Find the right mix. I think you need to add some kind of subjectivity because if you only execute the strategy/method...may be you can win but there are more 90% traders loosing...
I noticed my trading is a lot dependent on my mood. I use to practice meditation (Zazen) everyday to syncronize the kokoro (it means heart in japanese) before putting my hard earned money on the table. I helps. Ok. I stop here before exiting the context of the thread. Have a good trading day !

EJ: Entered long. Since we have FO, LO and US open ahead, keeping SL mental. TP1 is based on PA history seen on H1, and conservatively kept below RDH, as well as below the upper whole number. As other markets open, if any pull the price back down, the central pivot is a logical place for them to try and pull it down to, hence another SL area to consider.

You can see from the volume study that yesterday the market slammed the price down (the very instant of the JPY high impact release -stuff out of BOJ). Heavier trading from the bottom up caused the price to rise, such that by the end of the day the price was higher than where it started the day at! From the lows to the highs are not many pips. The market that slammed the price down to load up longs surely is anticipating (or planning) a bigger move.

AU Commentary:

H1 shows the market moved the price back up to the TL area. On high trading, too, This might turn out to be "stopping" volume. There is plenty of time for the price to recede again, and set up on M15 for a short come next LS.

Do you place a disaster stop below the respective price action in the market as insurance against price continuing in the wrong direction?

Can you provide an approximation of the percentage of trades you allow to go past your stop loss?

Was sonic flexible in his use of soft and hard stop losses, or did he always have his stops in the market?

GU: Entered long. SL mental since this is before LS, etc. Trading increased as price dipped several TFs back. Dragon is angling upwards; not much, but steadily.

1. Not usually. I leave the exit decision to myself.
2. It varies to the extent there is no uniformity that I know of.
3. Master Sonicdeejay always sets a SL, but a very wide one. He considers 80 pips a tight SL on EU. So, that gives you the idea of how wide his are.

I would like to add more to my previous post about the meditation stuff but not only. I meditate 10 mins every day. You take your time. You count your breath for 8 times and then again and fix a point with your eyes. It takes time to feel the benefit.
Now, let's say I'm blind today and I wanna take a trade. I have 50% probability to win because I don't know ... I cannot see. If I'm lucky I'll get some money. If not I'll be a looser. But...we have the power of this thread, the knowledge, the help of the masters. We have to do it for respect. If you miss a trade it's ok. Wash and rinse. There's another trade waiting for you...
