So, it was not priced in ? But anyway , according to your purposal that people were buying like crazy and when Sandy's news hit they said to themselve " You know what lets see what will happen after the storm and its expected catastrophic effects but not now "...

Makes you really wonder , why all the stock markets were in red for one week before the storm

on my charts, the last 2 bounces for .eu were EXACTLY at fibo levels... my guess would be this one (at next higher fibo) is going to fall thru... and go down a ways.


note: just closed long from 75 for small loss on little filip

I know you didn't , but The event was predicted and the damage was estimated - who went long on companies won't exist because his waiting for post hurricane contracts and benefits , and who went short is waiting for the big bill that company has to pay ... in either way , the money that will exist not that big - if you compare it to those who wanted to go long or short and waited for confirmation !

Its not a terrorist attack that happened in a second and everyone panicked - they knew about it from one week , and all decisions has been priced in !

They cashed out before Sandy ... I actually think based on some given assumption , the stock market will open on gains not on loses ! as the money that moved and hided before the storm , would like to come back and rebuy/resale again

They couldn't have priced everything in... like the fire and the actual damage cost, etc... those are variables which no one can exactly predict... so I don't think it is as simple as you say...

I guess we will see who is right tomorrow...
