Regarding the UJ pair......some people here may remember.....Kelly, where are you?....that I have a plan for the UJ pair. It goes something like this:

I believe that UJ will go to 100 in the not too distant future. The fundamental and technical reasons for this are overwhelming. First, we need to sort EU out, and then the USA debt ceiling issue.

From 76 (rounding off the numbers) to 100.00 is 2400 pips. Now, those of you with a calculator, add this up: I have a long position on UJ from 76.15 and another at 77.60. I will open a new position every 100 pips (where convenient) all the way up to the last position at 99.10 or thereabouts.

That is my long term big bonus trade for RJ

Do you usually trade from weekly charts using M1 for entries?
Just seems a bit strange to me, especially with USDJPY as it tends to spend months moving sideways.
I must admit that I do not normally trade this pair because of the usual lack of volatility, but if it works for you, that's great.

means I risk 50 pips for 200+ pips TP @the Higher Time Frames.. in this case D1 or W1..
Once you go beyond scalping for "20 pips" & do longer term trades you must look at the BIGGER picture PA & fine tune your entry in accord with the HTF using the LTF setups..

You are right... I use HeikenAshi and crossing EMA 3 + 8 (as always) Sorry I didn`t mention that.

What does this have to do with trading? In the appendix (entitled The Genius of W.D. Gann: An Interpretation) to Tony Plummer's Forecasting Financial Markets, the case is made that the elusive secret to Gann's trading success, which he never revealed explicitly, is to be found in Gann's The Tunnel Thru the Air.

Many traders have read The Tunnel in search of the secret. To me, the key is to be found in the many references to the gospel's words "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." For example, on page 10, "Robert was
desirous of knowing if children could teach more about the scriptures than grown people. His mother told him that the Bible said, 'A little child shall lead them,' and that anyone who would harm little children, can in no wise enter into the Kingdom of Heaven."

And becoming like little children is the same as ridding yourself of acquired personality. So there you go: In heaven, as in trading, personality is an obstacle. Also verified by science.

I hope to get on that bandwagon soon - as soon as I'm comfortabletrading EU/EJ. I think I'm making less mistakes- lets see if I can end the week in green pips lol.

Interesting call RJ, will be interested to see how this plays out !! Japan, like the US both have major structural issues, who wins the race to the bottom ??

These two issues may indeed shape the financial (and possibly wider) world over the medium term (5 - 10 years).

Takes a brave man to call a trend over those two issues. But I would be a brave man to question an RJ call
