On dailys once the 200 MA's are cleared, the usd/cad looks like they will head upward..

Would this probably mean the EU pair wil begin to tumble?

are usd/cad a heavy volume pair?
anyone able to direct me to a good source for currency by volume table?

Well, with "custom made" i meant I did them by myself. Because you cannot rely just on technical patterns, classic fundamentals you need an edge. So i developed my edge. I also REALLY like intermarket analysis for trading FX: BONDS-(RISK), Volatility, Equities, Commodities. (I have indicators about that subject)

You will not find them in any site, every day I download the data (LOT OF DATA) then i use my equations, do some technical analysis, etc etc.

At this time i use 16 unique indis for trading. And Rsi, MACD and trend lines, sometimes i use vsa. I use stata, R and my best friend Excel so i can manipulate data in a practical way.

I read a lot of books, (1 every week), then i do some research about the subject, backtesting, forward testing, and so on in a Virtuous cycle. At this time im doing research in co-integration (Very interesting), also known as "Pairs Trading". Also Very important reading the COT report and know how to get info from that.....(Order Flow Trading)...

...And one day we think we can predict the market.. but its not about the final result, is all about the idea of exploring: new techniques, models and market dynamics. Is this idea of exploring that will lead us to a better understanding....


Maybe one day i will do a website and post my indis so everyone can use them for free... im so sick about B....erg and M...atch.. talking about B..S...... let see how this week play for euro.

That s on 1m frame? Well 200, 365, 50 EMAs are good to find a good support zone to take profit, I cannot see whats going on on your chart but i can see some support at that level on daily. Close 1/2 at that tp, then move SL, then look for second tp or just take all on that level. I really dont trade in small time frames so i cant give you better advice. Sorry,

That's the Point&Figure chart and I wanted to find out whether my 'prediction' based on it is somehow correlated with those based on conventional charts

the market seems to be pricing in the QE5 we will be getting to build up the Frankenstorm actions. GDP will be up and everybody happy....

QE3 was QE4 and Operation twist was QE3 (or QE2.5 if you ask me)

why ?

where is that 20 bln coming from ? If it's coming from overseas in the form of euros then, sure, the conversion of euros to dollars will have a theoretical effect on the strength of the dollar. I'm saying theoretical because you'll most probably won't notice the change in the exchange rate cause noone is going to throw a market order for that kind of sum.

If the money is coming from the U.S. then dollar will be exchanged to...well...dollars...so no change there

well, the data did suck less totally than was anticipated:

Spanish gdp came at -0.3% whereas it was anticipated a -0.4%.

People need a reason to Buy, untill there is a new low people will find interest in Light Demand Zones.

October Month Positive Close is expected so Price staying above 1.2900 is ok to me.

November Month could be fundamentally important and may set the tone for next 6 months move
