How do you tradeon the M1? I find it is like guessing...

It's got to at least attempt a retrace, or it will look very bearish. Still not quite understanding such a strong down move, not much news and the FOMC minutes where $$ negative

I don't use high leverage I use a large account instead.

I don't trade the 1 minute, I use a tick chart for entry normally, but my bias is decided by daily then hourly first - unless it is a scalp but most are not my screens have tick chart, M10, H1 showing at one time.

I showed the 1 minute because people can get confused on here when you show a tick chart

Okay thanks for that. I do the same. Very low ratio of risk/account size.

I am also short, downward channel H4.
Even the worst trade can close with profit. Just give it time.

If top of the hour gives some substantial positive news regarding Eurozone, watch for short-covering.

Max how many ticks you have your set to > I am still learning about ticks ... mine is set to 200 but I have no idea what it should be ?

Another newbie question.

I usually use ForexFactory for my economic news. I noticed they dont have the US GDP being released tonight listed.

Is there other economic calendars out there recommended?

I like the one at dailyfx, it is not the best one but I think I have just got used to it. Same thing with stock charts. I think I have used bigcharts.com for the past 20 years or something. Old habits die hard.

I know a whale who has been short EURUSD, NZDUSD and AUDUSD for the past 3 months. He is a directional trader and has made a lot of money. Of course he has a loss with current positions but he has always managed to get out in profit. Something doesn't feel right with currency, stock and commodity charts. It looks like we will have a major crash when Mr Change gets re-elected. Fed and its muppets ultimately have to unload their window-dressing positions.

Decent fixed orders at 20, not like just buying on fly.

But are the able to hold....and why not got cracked yet. There will be some news delivery but have to wait. That is why it is not breaking down yet.

Can go either way that is, depending on news.

EDIT: haha....."barrier breakers (tm)" are on sidelines
