Cubbybgood, what is most important: don't let those typical annoying, sometimes nerve breaking guys to make a GURU out of you! If you can manage this - your thread's gonna be just fine!

Thanks. I do need to simplify the entry and exit rules but people really need to read and look at the first post. My first picture was a live trade I took yesterday for 15 pips.

Take only first heiken ashi signal after xpma trend change. Does this make sense to everyone?

I do this to enter after a cut back in price during the begining of the trend.

Cubbybgood, I wish you luck with your new system and I hope I'll be able to start testing next week.

Yes, I think you explained everything VERY good, your rules are simple, clear and logical, your template looks very nice and your MM is reasonable.

You have my vouch!

I think nobody wants to see your bank statement and nobody is interested about amounts of money you are making but just knowing you are not a next clown wasting other peoples time.

Here, using trade explorer or using myfxbook you can make lots and money private, showing just pips and gain %.
Why showing it would be worse than you just TELLING it?

Nothing personal, I think you uynderstand why people are full of doubts.

Good luck!

I did this once before using myfxbook with a strategy posted in the journal section on FF. This strategy was poorly worked out. I gained 80% on the live account before it blew. I was risking 100% of the account trying to win 9 trades in a row. The strategy had a high win rate but if a loss happened the account was gone. This went horribly wrong. I won 8 trades in a row just to have the 9 blow the account. I made a fool out of myself that day back about a year ago. I've moved past this now and don't want to do that again. We make mistakes. I felt that when I did this I traded differently and also put a lot more pressure on myself which I don't need.

I have enough pressure just trading myself. I'm always hoping I will not have some huge whipsaw day hit 10-15% of my account. We all have to worry about this in trading. Trading is stressful. It is less stressful trading with 1-3% but still... we all hate losses.

I made an EA for this system. It uses a pending order 2000 pip away thats opened when xpma changes color and its closed as soon as an order is opened so that a second order is not allowed (following the rules)- therefore DON'T delete this pending order or the EA won't work.

Also if xpma already change color you'll have to wait for another change before the EA will open orders.

Keep in mind I just made this thing. Test it- who knows- maybe it works badly or it might even not work at all if I misinterpreted how those indis work.

So- in conclusion- I haven't tested this thing AT ALL. Somebody please report back.

And to Cubbybgood I hope my contribution is not unwelcome. I'll delete my post if you have some irrational hatred of EAs like I've seen some people have.

EDIT: realized I forgot to add the MACD exit- did that now; in case somebody downloaded it already please get the new one.

I'm not against EA trading or an EA being created for this system. I really hate waking up in the middle of the night to close a trade. I'm actually considering stopping because it's been hard to go back to sleep after. I'm thinking of trying a TP level of at least 20 pips for this system in manual trading. Are you sure you got the trade entry and exit rules right?

I have been against EA's in the past for some of my systems but for this one, a good EA could be beneficial.

The rules I'm sure I got them right. I even used your modified xpma settings from the template. What I'm not sure is the calls to the xpma and HA indicators if they are right- haven't worked with indis like that before. And I can't exclude other bugs even though this is a pretty simple EA. So somebody needs to drive test it and first thing see if it actually opens trades.

First thing it should do is open a buystop/sellstop pending order (not meant to be executed) when xpma changes color- thats the first thing to check for.

Hi SpacyTrader,

great you made an EA!
Here are some suggestions:
1. One of the main advantages of an EA is that you can backtest it. Did you? I would find it interesting to see the result.
2. If the backtest shows trades as expected AND shows a profit, one might choose to test drive the EA on a DEMO account.
3. If you don't mind posting the source code of you EA, the *.mq4 file would be a lot more helpful than the *.ex4 because others can verify its logic and also help improving it.

Cheers,
TraderJF

Hey Cubby... welcome back! I followed your other system Profit All Day and still use it sometimes. I know you know your stuff. I am really liking this new Bliss system so far. I use FXDD and I got a signal on the 15 minute Aus/Usd chart 11 candles before you did? It would have got me into the trade only about 12+ pips before you entered. Weird how different brokers charts are different. Anyway, don't let the nay sayers get to you and keep up the good work. I wish you luck and I will be following this thread.

Nope. Didn't backtest it. I'm kinda lazy by nature so I was waiting for somebody else to solve the mystery of whether it works or not. If nobody does I intent to put it on a demo on monday anyway.

Thanks for this post! Yes, Results are way different! I downloaded FXDD as well and this trade would have been executed way earlier. The earlier entry would have been much better. I figure the major difference with FX Solutions is that they are a 4 digit broker. I'm going to take a look and compare my trades with a few 5 digit brokers to see if more pips can be made. Thanks for the heads up.

For those trying the system please place at least 5-10 trades on correct entrys to really evaluate the system. I don't want people giving up on the system on the first or second trade.

Give the system a fare shot.

Did you limit the trading of the strategy to only the US session or the Euro/US session?

I was just wanting to highlight the likely inaccuracy of your claims given the limitations of your testing framework.
