Took a long down here for a bounce - small risk if wrong rr about 5:1

Due to daylight saving time change , we are on GMT +24 where I live, so it is already Friday afternoon...no trading on Fridays.

H4 lost 1.299x again. Is just air now in the middle 100 tick up / 100 ticks down.... I prefer a test outside of the range to 1.327x (in quick move...cleaning everything above) but every attempt lower/higher to move outside of the mid of the consolidation range is bought/sell in "minutes".

Swing down is so clear in the Euro but no clear trigger in almost 30 days. Let see tracking this time only that 1.299x for H4 and daily charts... Intraday tradable to the upside while daily/weekly (and now monthly) for the swing down....

On the rest, just chop across the board and NY looks like it has no interest in doing much today ...

if we bounce to eu 3079 (3078.9) the aud has a high to the left 1.0412 ish... its probably a top. it could set up a shorter term 1.0068.. the little longer one is for 0.9xxxx. is already set-up..as long as that high holds.. . it was about 600+ pips last i looked. we got e- close and friday...shit happens..

I hate when they do this. We are running into daily supply right now, Usually it bounces a bit harder than this, buyers are just extra aggressive today I guess. We should be at or near the current swing high though. The more buyers that are absorbed, the faster we fall if the bear takes over.

The bastards may just be doing something bastardly though, in any case... if I am wrong on to the next one !

gator, I know you look at closes <> open/closes of previous bars... I just noticed something... do you take 5th decimal place into account? Looking back across some fake outs, the only deciding factor of them not playing through was the close was higher by a margin of the 5th decimal place.

I think I am going to do some research into just using 4 digits and see if that gives me a little bit more accuracy with the fakies.

Edit: I think that was a little bit confusing. I'm not doing a very good job at communicating this morning. Basically, I am asking... does the 5th place decimal of price matter to you?

its all norm in my eyes. 52 now or not.. some green candles now or after e-close.. gives a 3079 pump signal... then some red ones at/near 3079 is the dump ones.. i love the smell of Friday on a Thursday morning.

i never know how high these bounces will be. the one to 3014+ may have been enough.. i do know looking for weakness after a norm bounce to 3079 is rewarding in a norm move. and in norm times it sets up 2889. 3079 in norm times comes before 2889. and that is closer to 2768 and 2432.

Well I also got 1.307x but not as target but as stack of stops on the highs .... In any case all chop across the board ... rumors and more rumors pre election BS of a US downgrade, and last minute "undecided" big bastards all over the media positioning with Obama and/or Romney ... just noise ...

In any case, clocks changing this weekend in Europe so all H4 charts get messed up next week (coincidentally we always get a lot of chop across the board during this week in March and October until NY, London and Frankfurt are align). I am officially stop using them for intraday until then.
