this is an indicator I wrote to make the chart period and time-frame more appealing and easier to see which is very important when switching from timeframe to timeframe and currency pair to currency pair. even if you have 20 monitors it's sometimes hard to decipher what pair and timeframe you are looking at. I think there are similar one's but I like mine better. If you have any suggestions let me know.

You have to download the "Barred Out" (< follow link) to make it display how I use it - I just like that font the best.

Also use magnified market price.

when you open template it should look like picture below if you do correctly:

and don't worry no viruses in my files - i practice white magic. black magic is only for my enemies that piss me off.

just a quick question for you: I would like to trade the eur/dollar with the best return on investment using my 30,000$ interactive brokers account?
Could anyone point me to the best symbol/contract that would enable me to do this?

yes i have it now i dont follow this book any more because ED ponzi no longer trade the markets, if his pattern strategies are profitable he should have been using till now..i give weigh to those who are authors and as well as currently trading the markets, and they are few very few

he was good enough to post an amazon link so you can read the user reviews before you commit to buying it. In fact I'm going to read the user reviews just for kicks because I like to hear other people's opinions. If I use bad punctuation - sorry I'm a very bad dyslexic and for me writing a word forward (instead of backwards) is an accomplishment lol and I was taught wrong.

My advice for you though is to concentrate on the patterns themselves and past statistics / what to expect and especially failures of the pattern(s). Head & shoulders patterns are one of my favorite's for longer-term charts because it depicts a "classic reversal" of a trend in that it changes from a series of higher lows to one of lower highs (of course this isn't always perfect either but it's easy to understand "why" the trend changed) but nonetheless it is a broken trend to where a trader can then look for confirmation of a reversal.

I'm sure a lot of this you already know but it doesn't hurt to go over to work skills / rehearse.

Almost anything would be good to practice on as long as you can trade it on your demo account and your 30K stays in the bank.

yes of course - i know you're thankful. I'm just saying it's beneficial to see the reviews (amazon is pretty awesome for that - even though I sued the bastards once lol for blocking my products when I owned a software business and won btw). yes of course have a good one!

howdy ho motherfrienders,

I got some good pips today early in the london session, makes me happy. used some game theory to set targets because that's by far my biggest weakness.

What would the general commentary be about global risk appetite? When looking accross indices & commodities it doesn't seems like no group are unanimously voting in any direction? I haven't been too thorough in my observations so perhaps someone can shed some light.

well, i think they'd only be going after high leverage shorts who would be easy to kick out... the strong hands would stay in.
