I hope this pair will come back up towards 1.30 to have a decent short opportunity again... otherwise, this continuous drop it's not that much fun...

yes i am just hoping that 2945/47 or 2952 numbers do something as a "dead cat BS bounce" back to 3080+ for resuming towards target 2889

As i predicted for this week 1.2950 touched now we wait for tomorrow for some major changes ^^

a lot of waiting arround today, good job that the US guys stirred the pot. I waited for the last news at 2pm GMT and as it was close to expectations, I closed out and am noe flat and thinking of a sundowner in the evening sun - we may not get many more opportunities as summer time finishes soon

I think the market misinterpreted it as an imminent rate hike, but I just don't see it. Who the heck raises rates when their currency is appreciating with safe haven flows? It's all BS

I wonder if it's rational to expect equities to rally after the balloon had already popped

All that's left now is damage control and I'm sure the Fed will be ready to act to prevent a meltdown, but I wouldn't bet on any more rallies until after the elections.

Congrats. E/U came within 5 pips of my take profit (1.2945) so I closed manually at 1.2955 for 30 pips but left my 1.3131 and 1.3077 shorts running.
I am looking to add a short at 1.3010 area on PA confirmation.

I'm done for now. See you all tomorrow for the EZ PMI figures. If they don't meet expectations, we could be re-testing 1.2802 in no time at all.

ADD: I decided to place a sell limit at 1.3012 instead.

yes could be right 2 weeks early low, but cable has the potential to move back to the 70.7 % retrace, more often. i have another number which is still valid till tomorrow 6085 to be more precise, if tomorrow this number is not met then i will stop looking at this number for any potential up target,

do you have any lower targets??

Really ?

Cause all i see is a several week long range in the SP500 with each and every new week causing the market to thin up. IMO, it was just a liquidity run targeting previous week's low with a help of equity market related data. I wouldn't call it a burst just yet. I Could be wrong though.

Then, history has shown that the market tends to run up till the elections. Unless it's a slam dunk that Romney wins. It isn't.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Patience is the name of the game when the itch to scream a "short" is irresistible
