Yes, very STRONG confluence. I could see this coming 2 days ago since the Weekly 10 was there. Someday, I need to learn to play at these long TFs.

I think choros is working also in commodities but in HTFs.
Look silver daily with D/10!
HTFs need also patient....

Surely work for gold as well, I think it's just a matter of whether one has the willingness to adapt to trade it.

what time frames do you use for commodities? I've seen that on 15 min chart it goes above, below the 35/50 quite far

This is the best approach when you start. Focus only on the basic MAs and learn how price reacts to those.

Hello dancers & have a nice week!
The bussiness at my shop is going worse day by day.
Here in Greece with 25% plus uneployment and about 50%
youth unemployment I have nothing better to expect...
Anyway because everything bad thing has also a good part
-as ancient Greeks said 2500 years before- I have more time
to trade!

It gives me hope that I can change my life!
Today I missed the obvious choros signal 10:15 gmt
after first m5/12 touch & pin bar but I took this long
after m15/10 touch and m5/12,23,35 constrainment for 15 pips.
I feel now that I am getting better with trading day by day
and it is time to increase a little my positions...
many pips to all!

Hi all,

When i want to take a touch 10ema, if 35sma, 50ema or pivot are close to 10ema, is it better to wait for the next touch or bounce ? if yes so why ?

hi guys, been bumb into this thread few weeks before. i've read this which is great thread here,here some idea of mine:
in 5 min chart : 105 ma and 150 ma(35 and 50 ma in 15 min) 420 ma and 600 ma(35 ma and 50 ma on 1H)
in 15min chart: 140 ma and 200 ma(35 and 50 ma in 1H)

mainly trade 5 min, when the candle blow through 105 and 150 ma, change to 15min TF and look for trade that touch 140 and 200 ma.

not sure it works well or not, but im testing it on my demo

the chart attach on eu is 15 min and au is 5 min.

the vertical line is the entry point.

weird day to trade today.

a bit about my modifications of the system:

after 5 good trades according to manual you should get out from trade for the day. what I did, I stopped treating be+1 and similar trades as successful. if a trade gave me less than 0,3% profit I don't count is as successfull.

I change the risk depending on how many indicators push me to entry.
usually it is 1% risk with 7 pips (of course sometimes I move sl behind nearest round number). but when I see few confirmations for entrance I double or triple position size with same pips on s/l(for example touch of bar on 35 sma on round number and price constraiment pushes me to use 2-3% risk by doubling or tripling position size) Therefore I don't look at profit in pips, but in %, as I can lose 30 pips at 1% risk (normal position size) and gain 20 pips at 3% risk (triple position size)

as I cannot trade 5 days a week, and trade only 1-4 days a week sometimes I treat London session and NY session as separate days, so I double the amount of successful trades I can get per day

Do you guys think I did the right thing by adjusting the system to myself? or shall I stick to manual no matter what?

There is nothing special about today's action. You should know that on fridays institutional traders like to take their profits, close trades..Best would be to take only perfect by the rules trades on such days but it only sounds easy. About your MM plan: do not complicate things but if it suits you go ahead.

I believe that pros that vary their size knows quantitatively what is their edge for different scenarios. For you case, do you know what is your average RR for certain setups for perhaps the last 6 months? If you can't answer that then there is no point varying the lot size. Find that out 1st then you will decide on your lot size with a clear head, not plucking numbers off the air.
