EUR/USD has finished the week at very interesting price level ... So, what's next ???
... a deceleration of the daily range during this recent down-move suggests its correctional nature
and of course ... the close proximity of another support area is also very prominent,
as well as PriceAction already showing some signs of the bottoming structure.
I'm not a big fan of 'Elliot Waves' ... but on this occasion ... it simply goes straight into my eyes.

I tend to agree with your assessment at least in the part that deceleration in selling pressure appears correctional.

there are a lot of events coming up this week that will determine the movement of the dollar.

the German business climate
the GDP qoq growth for the US
interest rate decisions for CAD and USD
ECB president speaking and Chairman Bernanke of the Fed will be speaking
initial jobless claims for US will be coming out.

perhaps the market has already priced them in, we continue upward or perhaps there is an unexpected number that will make the markets sell off.


in my view the world financial system moves according to USD, and risk events ....so far the USD continues to be safe heaven so in times of trouble gov bullish gov treasuries and bearish equity and anything that is not a derivative of the USD goes down.

S&P and euro/usd have a .69 correlation coefficient.....Japain is the other wild card as well as Chinese data as far as the ability for china to continue exporting and growing.

The corrupted leader and fat bankers of EZ and US succeed as usual to draw the attention from the main cause of this bubble crises, which they created , and through all the balm on the people's demand and increasing costs. Now they are all over media and news shown how they working hard to solve our mess. Its pathetic to think that some of us yet not able recognized the so obvious scam. Still the most important question is, why they do this, the answer is simple, EZ most be Federalization zone, and this will never happen unless all Europe countries be controlled financially and economic. They already started step one by enforce bank regulation and bailout conditions. Next will be more problems (France will come next) and more bailout till declaring the EU Fed , then EU will hit the sky , so next 2-3 month expectation will be more down to EU , maybe 1.18 , then 1.40 1.50 ......lets wait and see

my 4hr chart has that bearish look too, but you can find a chart or TF to justify anything, and that's why I find the current situation confusing
