You can say it here, none of the indicators repaint once the bar is closed, so if you are looking at for instance M15 genesis on a M5 chart it will change colour until the M15 candle is closed. Other than that, none of them repaint. If you think otherwise though please feel free to post.

I have been using this system for 4 weeks, and tested for 2/3 weeks prior to that.

I take prints of every trade, at entry and exit.

At the end of every day, I recheck charts to prints, at the end of every week, I recheck all that weeks trades against charts, to monitor and log my performance.

Except for open candles (at time of print) I have never had a single instance, of having a single Genesis indi repainting ??

Knowing the amount of testing that has gone into this system, and the quality of coding, I would seriously doubt any Genesis indis repaint.

Thanks for your response and the Mature manner your words were constructed.
I stopped posting on FF and the likes due to a lot of Nuances (if you know what i meant)..

I also have had the opportunity of been here about the first day and first post made on here in this thread.And just like a lot of people i doff my hat to the originators..(bless them)

I have noticed this a few times but i never take cognizance of it until today when i actually made the effort to do a capture.

I wanted to see if it is my Broker (those Devils/Cheats again..lol) or maybe it is a Glitch somewhere which needs to be checked.
I wish to be humbly assisted to know what could be the cause of this error.

The 1st capture was at 11.18am...Note the CCI & GHL of the H1 on the white line...they are both RED....the candle as CLOSED
Then look at the 2nd capture at 11.24am..they both turned BLUE...that's some minutes after.

I do hope someone (coders can help out here) just at least to understand what happened in this kind of situation.

You have a H1 indicator on an M15 chart.

The H1 reading would not complete until 12:00

In other words 4 x M15 candles need to complete before the H1 reading completes.

It will keep changing for the full hour 11:01 through to 12:00.

That is not repainting !!

I was going to post your definition of repainting is incorrect, which would have highlighted that very fact.

Repainting is were an indi changes colour/reading, after the relevant candle closes.

Indis that are loaded on lower TFs, but rely on higher TFs for data, will change by the very nature of the coding, they cant give a final reading until the HTF candle closes

Thanks for your reply.

I disagree with the definition issue...lol...if you rechecked my sentence...we are kind of saying the same thing...after Candle closed = PAST .....and after several mins or hrs or days = PAST.

But your second statement i agree with and trying to sink in...
The H1 hasn't closed that's why it was that colour.

A bit late to reply but M5 Stox was already in OB territory, M15 had already been there too recently and you were fighting the downtrend from yesterday's 1753. Not a HPT in my book

Apart from what Oli already mentioned, I've noticed that your M5 stochastic settings are 5,3,3.
According to the system it should be 11,3,3

Yeah.....from Post #2 on Page 1 of this thread: 'The Matrix is all the same colour after the current candle is closed, ie, Matrix cannot repaint'

That's why I didn't bother answering that poster.....
