24 mins ago there was another push down in a 5 min high volume semi hammer and as I saw some positive divergence coming in, I banked.......this then hit the wires in FF...just confirms how jumpy the Euro is now in front of yet another meeting.....and the next rumour might push it up again....

No it's not Gerry. LOL. If it was Gerry, I would have said so.

As for lemmings pushing the market up, when there is low volume, it's amazing what even one order can do.

On top of that, who says banks aren't lemmings?

So big boys are Central Banks and Hedge Funds?
Local and International Banks considered to be lemmings? I thought Lemmings are retail traders. Like ME

Lemmings are non-market makers. That includes everything from medium banks all the way down to someone who trades a $25 account.

And how can it be that a Greek citizen sequesters €9.7 million abroad although he supposedly earned exactly zero euros?

These are the questions that tax fraud investigators will have to ask of a number of individuals whose identity has so far only been made public in the form of initials. For instance, a "G. D." stands at the top of a list with the names of 54,000 Greek citizens who relocated major assets abroad between 2009 and 2011. The list stems from the Greek central bank and is now in the hands of the Finance Ministry.

I think it would depend on the amount of capital taking the opposite position at the same time (to see how much it would move the market). However with no capital opposing the trade, I think its safe to say 1 billion could move the market 5 pips.
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

It can take less that 1 bln to move even 20 pips. It all depends on who's offering what, who's bidding what and how much competition they have.
Relating a certain number of pips to a certain amount of capital exchange is a fallacy.
