those f**** rating agencies should be banned. They just pour fuel on the fire.
if i was in Bruxelles i would set up a meeting with all the CEOs of these guys; then i would ask them to shut the f*** up. If not respected, all offices closed down manu militari the day after they downgrade anything.

That's all they can understand. These guys just excite fears of investors.

lol we all learn from these things... back in 2000 I bought £45k in Energis Plc as it had just announced a 5 year refinancing deal of it's debt which had been hanging over it like grim reaper and keeping a lid on prices, man it was a great entry all that upside, debt secured for 5 years etc.... £1.32 a share analyst targets £2+ winner winner.......

Two weeks later they missed the first payment and the shares went to £0.02 and was unable to get out in the instant fall... it went to zero.....

apart from being a true tale, it taught me to be very wary of debt... so what if greece and spain get bailouts, the debt is still there nobody is making it smaller and greece still won't be able to afford it..... think about it....

edit: and if you consider where the safe money to be made is on that kind of stuff... it's not buying and selling the euro. it's buying those countries bonds at nice high yields almost guaranteed by ECB etc. no SL required....

Greece should borrow from ESM now, and pay back its debt with it.
It would reduce the overall debt of the country.

As greek bonds are trading to a discounts, some experts say every ESM 1$ would buy 1.5$ of current issued debt.

I agree.. debt is bad at a country and personal level.. I was there so I know.. Since then I went debt free (more than 10 years now), I don't have credit cards, and I buy everything cash.. Makes life so much easier...

I wish i could see some more creativity than just just ping-ponging the price at 45 price level, which happens to be 2. important level today, 57 being 1. and 32 wanna-be 3.

They think they are smarter than I am.
